The New Dimensions Brass Quintet provides live music for special occasions such as wedding, receptions, banquets, recitals, special programs and services. The NDBQ consists of 5 Shreveport area music educators who provide a high level of quality performance that reflect years of training and experience in the field of instrumental music.

History

Established in 1993.

The historyof the New Dimensions Brass Quintet may be traced back to March 6, 1993. Brass players (local band directors) were invited to participate in a special performance being given by the New Dimensions Choral Society. The performance went so well the musicians decided they wanted to continue to play. They began to seek out other performance opportunities and have been playing together ever since.

Business Owner

Born in Fort Worth, TX, I was fortunate to have had piano lessons at the age of 10. A year later I was introduced to the trumpet. I was also fortunate to study under excellent music teachers in jr. high school. high school and college. My academic degrees include: B.A. in Music Education (Wiley College); M.A. in Music Education (Louisiana Tech); and + 30 in Education Adminstration. Further studies were also done at University of North Texas and Texas Christian University.
