Its 2:45 and every table either has plates that need to be picked and/​or the tables need to be cleaned. By that, I mean that a few table have everything picked up off of them, but the table itself is still dirty! The one that we had to sit at still had salt sprinkled all over it and a sticky coke stain on my side. The food? It was okay, but the Real Pickle has a better Reuben sandwich.

When in Shreport, I have eaten at McAlister’s many times. I like the interior design, the food and service are great, place is clean, etc. I always have a French dip, and potato salad, and ICED TEA!

Total up sell on the new berry salad. (If your not a pecan fan, ask for almonds!) Love the staff’s personality and of course the Sweet Tea is done right!

I really do dig this place. Great soups, sandwiches and salads! Just as good if you get it to go! I really like the southwest cobb salad with a chipolte dressing and grilled chicken! The big nasty sandwich is good, beef and cheese with a side of au jus… yummy! They also have delicious iced tea here. I know that when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were in town at some point doing some filming, there were multipile eye witness accounts of them dining here.

Would love to comment on the food, but can’t because I never got mine. This location’s failure to get food out of the kitchen in a timely manner and surly and unknowledgeable/​unhelpful staff point to a management issue. Here’s hoping those whose job it is to handle such things take the appropriate action.

I’ve always like McAlister’s ever since I first tried it. Nice place. Awesome sweet tea. Their cheddar broccoli soup is delicious. as well as the grilled chicken club sandwich. Salad has been fresh 90% of the time. but then again when it wasn’t it was when I went at the end of the day when they were about to close. Service has always been excellent. The only down part is that some of their stuff is a little overpriced. Overall I do recommend!
