Dr. Hand takes a unique approach to dentistry. He gets to know each and every one of his patients. Dr. Hand develops a great working relationship with every patient and fully educates them so that they know exactly which procedures they need, and what treatment will entail. We are one of only two dentists in the area that cats our own gold crowns. These offer perfect fit and function and require no adjustment!

We work with one patient at a time, as we believe this is the best way to take care of people. Our team will get to know your personal issues, habits, and stress levels in order to treat you in a complete, holistic way. We are loyal to our patients, and they are loyal to us. We put passion and heart into the profession, and our patients see the benefits!

History

Established in 2003.

The team at Dr. Larry D. Hand, D.D.S. is made up of one dentist, one hygienist and one receptionist. We have been working together for over twenty years.

Our longstanding relationship has helped us refine our service into the best one around. We are as close as family, and our passion and enthusiasm for dentistry allows us to give every patient superior service. When you visit us, we will have an in-​depth conversation with you to get to know you better as a patient.

Business Owner

Dr. Hand’s passion for dentistry stretches back to his childhood. He loved his dentist as a kid, and that admiration drove him to enter the field of dentistry. Dr. Hand pursued the career path and went through all the years of rigorous schooling needed to become a dentist. He graduated in 1982, and has been happily practicing dentistry for over 31 years! Dr. Hand originally practiced in a rural parish in Louisiana for six years, and then moved full time to Shreveport where he practices today.
