I had the spider sushi roll and after I ordered, I decided to do the hibachi. Waitress would not let me cancel the sushi roll so I ended up with way too much food. The sushi was not a bite size so I felt I was stuffing my mouth and it made it hard to chew. The hibachi cook slightly burned the food so I did not take a to go box. The serving size of your hibachi meal is very generous. Not sure I’ll return and I forgot to ask about a military discount. Come early before 7 and it is kind of slow in here.

I always do a take out from here so I cannot comment on the service, décor of the restaurant or the seating arrangement. What I can comment on is the amazing sushi they have here! I always order sushi only and these are a few of my favorites: — spicy salmon roll — tiger eye roll –spicy yellow tail roll –mochi ice cream Everything is always cooked to perfection, tastes amazing and is reasonably priced.

The food was just ok(3⁄5), but customer service was excellent and restaurant has a good drink menu(4.5÷5). I ordered the chirashi bowl, which was just ok for me. I’ve had fresher fish, but overall my food wasn’t bad. I would come back for drinks and to try the hibachi grill! Piña colada I ordered was excellent and the hibachi area looked so enticing!

It’s been a couple of years since I ate there but I remember that the seafood was horrible and the food was not as good as it should have been. I’ve had better.

Ah SO! … Delicious. The place is beautiful, the fusion of Asian and American contemporary décor, functional and intimate. Spacious booth seating. Our dishes were excellent: soft shell crab, spider roll, spicy yellowtail roll and eel roll. They were what you would expect but each had a gently unique flair. Cole is an outstanding waiter.

Hana has come very far in my opinion. The first time I came here two and a half years ago I was willing enough to give it another shot. The next time I had sushi that got me sick. Flash forward a year I had veggie sushi that was good. Ten months later we come to tonight, they have renovated and it is gorgeous. I finally get a chance to actually sit at hibachi with my boyfriend. Our chef was clearly new, on his way to our table the cart with our food toppled over but can’t be mad, accidents happen and he was going up a ramp and there was a dish cart in the way. He was back out with new food in about five minutes. He wasn’t very animated but like I said he was clearly new. The food was delicious. They did forget our shrimp appetizer but they immediately corrected it and it’s not like they forgot the entrée. I had a spicy tuna roll with crunch on top, veggie hibachi. My boyfriend had steak and scallop hibachi. Everything was just delicious. I will without a doubt be back. I could not be more pleased between the service and the food.

Really amazing sushi and fried rice. I will definitely be bad. Ordered take out and the service was very quick and friendly. The décor is very upscale and I will definitely be back to dine in.

Hana! Atmosphere: Great Sushi/Teppanyaki Vibe Service: Friendly and always available when you need something Food: Teppanyaki is great. Very similar to a Benihana feel. Delicious food and a show at the same time, how can you go wrong? The Lunch Specials are a great deal! As far as the Sushi side, it is very average and nothing to write about. The Teppanyaki though is the place to be, they will make it as spicy as you want it! Don’t forget to get the Sake! looking for a fun night to grab dinner? Try this place out!

My hubby and I love Hana. We absolutely love sushi(he actually asked me to date him over a sushi dinner) and Hana has the best sushi in shreveport. It’s usually around $ 40 for the three rolls we always order. Little bit pricey but for quality sushi, it’s the right price. The sushi is always perfect. The restaurant is very clean with a very nice vibe to it!

This place was absolutely delightful. Food & service is A+ rated. I’ve never eaten sushi before but it looked so appealing I had to try it & must say it was G-R-E-A-T!!! I wielded tell return here soon.

I have been here about 20 – 30 times. I love the sushi. I usually order the Alexandria roll, chef roll, or the crawfish roll. They are all so good. My favorite waitress was Shelly but unfortunately she no longer works there. Mandy is super nice too! I gave this restaurant 4 stars because I feel the staff doesn’t really know anything about sushi, as in they don’t eat it so they can’t recommend to try something good. Shelley recommended all the time I guess that’s what made her the best! I have not been going that often because I feel that some of the newer wait staff is rude and they don’t listen.

I really wish 3.5 stars was an option. First and foremost, this is more or less updating on the food, not the service. Location was very clean, service very polite, near flawless in these regards. As can see from picture, the food is presented well, downright looks beautiful. However, the flavors this go round were seemingly off. Now, please don’t be discouraged, it is fresh, that’s not the issue, but more so the theme of each roll and ingredients used w/sauces etc, just didn’t mesh right with me. Most notably, the Hana roll, deep fried and may have been flavor from grease, not sure, just off. Again, prices are fair for portion size and menu boasts quite the selection. If anything, would like to see more fine tuning to create exceptional rolls versus a vast variety with ill-conceived flavors. As an avid sushi goer who has tried places galore, it stuck out enough to me to remember. Hana is definitely worth the trip, service/décor alone is A+

We went there on a Wednesday night, place was pretty empty, but everything was great. Food was delicious, service was good, entertainment was nice(my mother and I had the hibachi). Very pleasurable experience.

I have been here twice for sushi and both times the sushi was fresh and delicious. The only thing I think they could improve on is how they construct the rolls. Some there was visable seaweed where there should have been rice, and the rolls fell apart for the most part when dipped in soy sauce. Good thing I am more concerned with taste. All of the rolls I ate were delicious, and priced reasonable compared to the various sushi places I’ve eaten at. The inside is nice and the tables are seperated far enough that you dont feel like youre having dinner with the people sitting next to you. Both times the service was good. This is the best sushi place I’ve been to in Shreveport so far.

We came here to have sushi and we ordered six different rolls. All the sushi was fresh and was very tasty. Our server was very friendly and did a great job, keeping the water glasses filled, recommending the chef’s favorite sushi roll, and accommodating with extra eel sauce spicy mayonnaise. Although we only ate sushi this restaurant seems to be a combination Chinese food and sushi. The place was clean, parking was easy, the prices are reasonable, and it was an overall good experience. If you enjoy sushi I recommend stopping in and giving this place a try.

Sorry to say but sushi has gone downhill. Last two times the presentation was absent and so was the taste. New chef? I gave them the benefit one week, but not the next. Off my list.
