Hello and merry Christmas! I truly wanted to love this place with all my heart. I’m a big believer in supporting black owned businesses. I was very impressed when I walked through the door, beautiful entryway. It felt good to be there… So girly and gave me the fun feeling! It set the tone for success but it only ended in failure. First things first… Sanitation. No one wants to lay there head where others have laid there head all day. Disposable protectors would have made me much more comfortable instead of laying on that silky sheet that everyone else laid on. Second, professionalism. This is a quality that sets successful people apart from amateurs. When I laid down to get my eyebrows /lip waxed, I wanted to feel as if I was at a spa, but that was not the case. Instead I heard her and her coworkers/friends discuss the shenanigans of their dating situations. Who they were with and what they were doing, instead of listening to soft melodies in the background. Last but not least is work quality. As many times as you re-waxed the same areas, I should not have hair still in those areas. When you have perfected your craft, people will put up with just about any situation but this is not your case. When I left this review on genbook, I expected to see it because it is an honest opinion. I know now that you pick and choose what reviews are showed. Do not be fooled by the excellent reviews because they are only hand selected, not a true representation of your business. Dishonest business practices will not get you very far. One girl mentioned that a customer called about an issue and she yelled out«no refunds» instead of trying to rectify the situation.
