Chix N Pies is the home of Monster Wings, Pizza, and «Fat Sandweechs.»

Our food is always made fresh to order, and from scratch. Our Wings are the biggest in the area and we only use fresh and local chicken. Our Pizza is hand made all the way from the dough to your plate, we offer classic New York style pizza with many unique topping offerings as well. Our «Fat Sandweeches» are loaded high with fries, onion wings, mozzerella sticks, and more. In addation we offer a wide variety of delicous menu choices to suit every palate, from children to dieters and everyone in between. Come in and try us out, we strive to please each and every one of our loyal custumors, and hope we can welcome you to our resturant as well!

History

Established in 2011.

We created Chix N Pies as a way to share our love of fresh homemade food with our customers. We strive to offer each and everyone of our custumoers a fresh, delicious meal. Our goal as a staff is to treat each and every one of customers like family with service and a smile!

Meet the Manager

Al S.

Manager

Our general manager Al has a passion for food and custumor service. He’s been in the resturant business for over 20 years! Al has experience in, creating recipes, training staff, food safety, cleanlieness, and running a business from the ground up. Al has been asked to consulat for many resturants, franchises, and startups. He’s always on site and hands on, and is involved with all aspects of our resturant. He is certified by the National Resturant Association, and is also a certified Sommieler (although we don’t serve liquor be sure to ask him for his tips)! If you ever have a question or concern please talk to Al and he’ll be sure to take care of you.

God awful. Terrible pizza on top of lousy service and a horrible selection of pizza flavors. Plus they’re never open which doesn’t help. If you live in Jersey you have better places to go for pizza.

This place is never open. Tried to pass by several times, but they’ve had an extended closing sign for last the last several months. The odd thing is that they keep pushing out the date, so it’s unclear if they are still in business.

Updating my review to say that the food is much, much better when it’s fresh. We gave Chix & Pies another try and I am happy to report that it was pretty solid. Our food arrived in under half an hour this time, and it was much hotter and fresher than last time. I don’t know where they are getting these colossal-​sized wings (maybe tiny dinosaurs? yum) but they’re very juicy and meaty – and they seem to travel better if you order them without the breading. We also gave the sausage pie another try, which was fine.
We’ll probably order from Chix & Pies again. The food isn’t mindblowing, but it seems pretty solid when it’s fresh. The prices are reasonable enough, and the location is very convenient for us.

Formerly «Short Hills Pizza,» this is a recently opened small restaurant that seems to do mostly delivery and takeout. Just like the name says, it specializes in chicken (wings, boneless chunks and whole/​half grilled) and pizza. It also has a selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads and side items.
We opted to try the grilled chicken, wings and a small pizza. We ordered the wings with the «liquid lava» sauce. It has a great wing flavor — not too salty or tangy, but it was a little short on the heat. Also, the wings are not served with blue cheese or any other dipping sauce, so that’s a minus.
The pizza crust was on the tough side and the sauce was more mild than I’ve come to expect. But the cheese was decent and it arrived hot.
Now, the grilled chicken — excellent. It’s difficult to find well-​cooked, juicy white meat in any restaurant, but they pull it off. It has a great grilled flavor and the chicken is moist and juicy. We got it with the mild buffalo sauce, which had a better flavor than the liquid lava.
I would order from here again.
