Wasn’t impressed with the burgers. Also, the staff messed up my burger. Not a very clean place either, I will not be back!

My hamburger tasted great. The fries were very good also. My son brought me here the other night as he stops here occasionally and thought I might like it, which I did. I will keep this place in mind the next time I am around this area and want some thing to eat.

First: Fast Food. .. I can not award a 5 But for a good burger — consistent custom burger from 5 guys to 5 guys to 5 guys where ever this chain delivers the goods. Healthy dried burgers DONOTEXISTHERE. .. now those that are still ready. .. extra napkins please as a burger should be.

First time at Five Guys in Shoreview Mn today. French fries were hot but underdone, greasy and floppy. Burgers were nothing more than you could get for half the price at mcd’s or BKing. Overhead music was bad too. Wasted $ 21.85 there today. Don’t waste your money

I loved my first time at Five Guys in Edina years ago, and had high expectations going in here. The burger was just OK. Wasn’t hot enough, and the buns got so soggy half way through that it fell apart! And this place should be called SIXGUYS Burgers & Fries, because the place was filthy and they needed one more person just to clean up! Idea? Grill the buns slightly so they don’t get so soggy. Also, since we made veggie Mom come with us, she wouldn’t even try the veggie sandwich. Really? Grilled onions, mushrooms, peppers, lettuce and tomatoes plopped on a bun? ICK!

This place is a little on the spendy side for a burger joint but I still have to go once every couple of weeks. they have really good burgers and fries and I would highly recommend coming here if your hungry for a good burger. you also get extra fries and free peanuts! love this place

Gave it a second try and was equally dissatisfied. Diners take note! When ordering a ‘burger’ you get a double. It was such a disgusting sloppy mess. I won’t be giving this another try.

Overall I can’t say that I was impressed. Burger was tastey though. I dont recommend the Cajun season for the fries. The atmosphere was not inviting, music was too loud. I won’t be going back to 5 Guys anytime soon. May get food to go, not sure yet.

Good greesy burgers :) A tad pricey, but that’s how it goes whenever you eat out. I recommend ordering off their phone app to save time.

Five Guys probably has my favorite fast food burger in the Twin Cities, and my second favorite fast food burger overall(sorry, you just can’t be In-N-Out). The portions run large here, burgers and fries. I find a «little» burger is enough for me, and a «little» fries can be shared with two people. The burgers are delicious, and I love that you can choose from so many different toppings without having to pay extra. The fries are kinda eh to me, they’re not my favorite but they’re still worth eating. This location in particular is always busy, so you’re going to wait a bit longer for your food than if you were at a McDonalds, but they have peanuts to snack on while you wait! The people here are always super friendly. I’d say it’s worth a stop.

Up to the point of my first Five Guys visit, I had not been a fan of all the burger joints popping up everywhere. I dismissed it as trendy bullshit that people who are bad with money go to. Then the gf took me to the Shoreview Five Guys. She made me go, telling me my viewpoint was irrational and wrong. I was told I’ll never go to McD’s again once I’ve tried it(I tried explaining that I go to McD about once a year so that comparison was fail but got«the look» so i zipped the yap and accepted my fate to go to this joint) Well, i was impressed. That was about a month ago and yesterday I was back for 2nd try. Impressed again. The prices are a bit high but you get so much eats I wouldn’t say excessive. The seating is really cramped and kinda uncomfy especially if its busy but thats it. No other negatives from my pov. I like the peanuts. How’d they know I like peanuts like that? Its like they read my mind! The burger was great. I can’t even compare it to other fast food joints. It was that much better. Got a medium order of fries expecting I could eat them all and was handed a bag full of one million fries! I didn’t even put a dent in it and I was hungry!!! And on both visits I was struck by the competence of the employees. They were actually… FRIENDLY! Smiling? Didn’t look like they hated their jobs and life or you know teh standard McD experience. So. The gf wins again. I’m a fan of joint. Even though I avoid fast food nowadays like its the plague I can make an exception every once in awhile to scarf a burger here. Good job Five Dudes.

We stopped here because we were going to go to the Cup and Cone for ice cream and subs and then realized, duh, that was the rest of the world’s plan. We were looking for a quick way to avoid cooking and neither of us had been there. So we chose it over Chipotle next door. Dumb. I’m not a big burger fan anyway, but it was hot in there, a ten minute wait, and just not so great. We shared a bacon burger and fries and the two year old liked the grilled cheese. The fries were pretty good. I wouldn’t go again… I really miss Fudruckers.

FRIES, FRIES, FRIES! They give you so much! Great fries and good burgers with a huge variety of toppings that you can add. Hard to beat! Overall a solid burger joint. Oh, and free peanuts. Can’t forget about those babies.

I need to make an update to my previous review in which I raved about the quality and convenience of ordering via the Five Guys iPhone app. It turns out the technology is ahead of the store operation’s ability to execute. Previous times I’ve ordered from the app and the restaurant was not busy when I arrived to pick up my order — burgers were in the bag, fresh fries were added and I was on my way. My most recent experience was not so great as there was no obvious way to avoid the long, slow line of people placing their regular orders. When we did finally get to the cashier, our order was expedited in the burger making, but did remain behind all of the other orders waiting for fries to be added. In the end, it would have been faster to just drive to the restaurant and wait in line with all the other Five Guys fans. Still like the food!

Malt Vinegar. Yep, I added a star for malt vinegar. I love that stuff on fries. 5 guys is a chain that has been in the twin cities a year or two. This place is the latest installment, which thankfully is in my stomping grounds. They serve burgers — not bad. Better than Smashburger and their ilk. I ate mine today with no ketchup/mustard/mayo just so I could taste the burger. It stands up to the inspection. This is one of the better fast food burgers available in the Twin Cities. The fries are fresh and come in very large portions. We split a regular and still had plenty left over. But, this place has the most uncomfortable chairs I have sat in in quite some time. You are forced to lean forward. Seriously uncomfortable. They could change the name to Burgatory with those chairs. So much for that extra star.

I should give this place one star for being so close to my gym and creating a terrible influence on my eating habits. But hey, I can’t hate! The fries are amazing and the burgers are to die for. The burgers’ capacity for almost-infinite customization has always been a favorite feature of mine. I have been here a couple times so far and the service and food seem on par with other Five Guys locations(a good thing). Five Guys is one of those burger places with a lot of buzz, so I would definitely recommend trying it at least once if you’ve never been to one of the metro locations.

Good burger but the fries they put in the cup are always soggy. The fries could be crisper but it’s a chain and nothing will change. Especially the high prices, $ 11 for a burger and soggy fries is too much. Next time maybe burger from 5 guys and fries from Wendy’s.
