This is just a perfect little park Basketball court, playground and a gazebo with Karaōke on Tuesday nights in the summer.

The kids and I really enjoyed this park today. It was clean and play equipment were in great shape. Bathrooms clean as well. Park was well maintained. Lots of open grass space. Only 4 stars as I wish there were more trees or covering over playground for shade from the sun. Other than that, great park and will be back!

Love this place! Ok, I may be biased, we live right next to it. But it really does have a lot to offer. It was just revamped in 2011 I believe, and is very well maintained. It includes a stormwater drain basin, so there are several ponds with ducks and other wildlife. There is a path around the entire park that is probably about ½ mile. A small baseball field(for minor league, kids leagues) makes up most of the park, with a basketball court too. There is also a swingset and kids play place. A really nice gazebo is located on the Meridian side of the park where summer events take place, like weddings, church functions, and small music festivals. Crossing over to the south side of the park, there is a semi-wooded area with a few picnic tables. It is an on-leash area, although sometimes people throw the ball for their dogs off leash when no one else is around(I’m guilty of this — sorry). Plenty of parking is available around the park and there is a public restroom.

I have now lived in Shoreline for three and a half years now. I remember the old Cromwell Park and there wasn’t much to it. It was kind of a disgrace to call it a park. But now after going through a complete makeover, the city of Shoreline has rejuvenated this park. It is absolutely beautiful!!! The park now has a very nice baseball field that has a big open grassy field attached to it, a brand new basketball court, a bunch of swings, a nice big jungle gym with a slide, and more stuff for kids to play on. There is a nice concrete pathway that goes around and through the park which is nice to take a casual stroll on a nice sunny day. The park has really brought a whole new dimension to the surrounding neighborhoods. Also added to the park are man made wetland areas where different birds and other urban wildlife come to hangout. It defiantly adds a beautiful natural aspect to the park. I love bringing my daughter here to let her run around and play her butt off. She has a lot of energy so this place is perfect for her to burn it off.

They have FINALLY put a door on the stall, but the lock sticks so I hope some little girl doesn’t get stuck in there and have to crawl under the door.

My family has lived in this neighborhood for about 10 years now, and I have to say, it has never looked better. Much of this is due to the newly-remodeled Cromwell Park, just opened August 30th. New playground, new baseball field and basketball court, new bathrooms and drinking fountains, new plants and grass, new trails and paths? This is not the Cromwell I grew up with. It’s a 100 times better. There’s even little ponds and creeks designed to better drain the ground after rains. I spent a good part of my childhood trudging its water-logged fields, but no longer. I am now greeted by paved walkways and robust(not patchy!), green(not yellow!), freshly-seeded grass. Definitely worth the 2-year wait.
