Assembly of Dog

I brought my small breed Min Pin over to this wonderful establishment and Right away i could tell that these guys care about there business. My dog was looked after and treated with love. The facility is clean and the dogs are looked after very well. Dawn and her Husband Ben are two of the coolest people you will meet. Don’t bother taking your dog anywhere else, seriously don’t !!!

They are awesome! Had our two labs over to see if they liked it and they loved the place. They kept them for a long weekend while we were on vacation and the dogs had a great time. I highly recommend Assembly of Dog!

We love Assembly of Dog (AOD). We have used them twice: once for two nights and once for a week. They are friendly and very accommodating. They sent us multiple pictures of our adorable, high maintenance puppy while we were away. Leaving dolly with them is like leaving her with family. It’s nice to be able to leave Dolly at AOD and not have to worry about her at all. We cannot sing their praises enough and will gladly continue to be repeat customers.

Our small dog, Charlie, spent the night @ Assembly of Dog so we could have a night away on a Saturday, but we didn’t just want to board/​kennel her. Assembly of Dog was like a 2^nd a home for Charlie from the time we got in the front door. Ben and Dawn were extremely welcoming upon dropping off Charlie and picking her up back up. She seemed right at home (almost to the point we were a little jealous of how comfortable she seemed). There seemed to be some good structure as they asked about feeding/​walking/​social habits, which was nice to know Charlie wasn’t just going to sit in crate somewhere while we were gone.
The couple other dogs (large and small) that were there when we dropped off/​picked up were playing well together and it seemed like a happy place for all the dogs. If you are looking for a great vacation spot for your dog to have a good time and socialize with other dogs I would highly recommend AoD.

Ben and Dawn are amazing! I moved to Shoreline around the beginning of the year and have been taking her here 2 – 3 times a week ever since. My girl has a sensitive stomach and they are always so careful with what they give her. Also my work schedule is constantly changing and they are so flexible! I feel at ease knowing that Ben and Dawn are looking after my girl while I’m at work and she always comes home happy and exercised! They are the best!

Awesome — I am so happy we found Dawn & Ben to puppy-​sit our two energetic pups who don’t always mix well with other dogs — they had a wonderful time during their recent two night stay at Assembly of Dogs and are looking forward to coming back for doggy day care (and future boarding!!). Dawn & Ben have a very welcoming home that the pups felt very comfortable in — and it was wonderful to receive pictures and updates to know that they were doing well!
Dawn and Ben are very experienced in working with dogs (and have adopted ffrom and fostered for Gingers Rescue (the same organization that I adopted my pups from!).

We left our two dogs with Dawn and Ben for a week and they didn’t want to come home!
Buster, our 12 year old dachshund, and Louie, our 9 month old terrier mix totally enjoyed their stay at Assembly of Dog. The puppy was in 7^th Heaven there. The backyard is a Disneyland for dogs. So much to see and so much to do! The older dog was happy to sit back and watch over his brother. I knew that our «kids» were in good hands. Best of all, Dawn sent his pics of the dogs while we were away so we got to see how much fun they were having!
If and when we go out of town, we will be bringing our pups back to Assembly of Dog. We cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are looking for a place for your dogs, schedule a meet and greet and go see for yourself! The price is reasonable and Dawn and Ben are just wonderful with the animals. Tell them that Buster and Louie sent you!

We are so happy that we found Assembly of Dog to take care of our little guy, Cooper, who is an energetic, happy, loving dog. We have left Cooper with Ben and Dawn when we have been out of town several times now and he always comes back happy and tired. I love the pictures that they send us when we are gone. When we have had Ben or someone from Assembly of Dog come walk Cooper, they always leave a really nice message on the white board they provided us, indicating what adventures he’s been on, what time they took their walk, and whether he pottied. We are quite protective of our pets and it has been such a relief to be able to leave Cooper in the care of people we trust when we are away. In fact, we have often wondered if Cooper wouldn’t rather just adopt Ben and Dawn as his parents! With the different dogs that they board and the yummy treats that they give him, it sure is a more exciting home for him than ours could ever be!

I use Assembly of Dog both for boarding and for mobile daycare. I boarded my dog here for a week about 2 months after I adopted her. I really did not want to take her to a kennel type facility because I thought she might think I had taken her back to the pound! So I was thrilled to find Assembly of Dog’s home boarding. I could tell she got lots of love and attention and, although she was happy to come home, she clearly loves Ben and Dawn. She was in great condition when I picked her up. They are just super nice and obviously are dog people.
Also, the comment below that claims they refuse to work with people who have other dog walkers is just silly. I have another dog walker and they have no issue with it.

We have been with AOD — Ben and Dawn for the past 2 years and it has been nothing but the greatest experience. They are both loving people and extremely professional. We get notes after every day about what Gucci did that day and also use AOD for when we go on short vacations or trips up to the ski slopes. We would recommend AOD to anybody!

Dawn & Ben are seriously amazing.
My rescue dog Bear used to have huge aggression issues. When I left town, I always had to leave him at my vet’s kennel and he was miserable, but I couldn’t trust him with other dogs.
A friend of mine suggested Assembly of Dog might be willing to try him out with their dogs when I was leaving for a big trip… so I called them up.
I brought Bear over for a trial with them and their dogs. Their boarding service is in their home and it’s a dog’s paradise. Right away, Bear wasn’t even interested in the other dogs with all the toys around and the huge dog-​park in their backyard! That distraction seemed to be enough to get him to calm down, so when their own dogs & the other dogs they were boarding were introduced, Bear had no issues with them! It was amazing.
With the trial over, I decided to try it while I was in Europe for 2 weeks. I dropped him off and dreaded the worst — I warned them they might have to put Bear in the kennel if he ended up being aggressive or anything and they reassured me they would be fine.
Over the next 2 weeks, I got periodic emails of photos and stories about Bear. I returned from my trip and Bear was like a new dog. I really think it’s thanks to Ben & Dawn that Bear can now take trips to the dog park and stuff now. Whenever my roommates cannot watch Bear, I take him to Assembly of Dog. They are awesome.
They scream «Dog People». They know how to handle dogs. They care about my dog. I cannot recommend them enough!

Dawn and Ben have been watching our dog Ginger for over a year now, and they are just awesome! We used to bring our dog to a large kennel where she would always come back malnourished and angry but we didn’t know where else to bring her until we found these guys.
Dawn and Ben run Assembly of Dog out of their house, and Ginger has SO much fun with these two — they let her frolick all over their house, give her the TLC that she needs, and they have a huge backyard littered with toys that is a dog’s dream. They also have a toy chest that Ginger makes a beeline for the second that she walks into their house.
I also love that Dawn always sends us texts and pictures letting us know how Ginger is doing — and we always know that she’s in good hands.
They are always reliable and the pricing is super reasonable. We are so lucky to have found these two — I can’t recommend them enough!

Our little buddy, Baxter is a nervous wreck most of the time and is often fearful of everyone he meets. Although he is a good boy at home, we have heard otherwise from our friends that we have left him with in the past.
After a recommendation from a friend, we decided to try Assembly of Dog’s boarding service. Baxter immediately warmed up to Dawn and felt comfortable in their home. It is apparent that they are «dog people» and love the work that they do.
While we were away, we got email updates complete with pictures. I have never been more pleased or felt more comfortable leaving our little guy with someone.
We will definitely continue to use them as we travel often and I have already been recommending them to everyone I know.
The best news? Baxter was a stellar citizen while we were away. I am sure this can be attributed to the care and attention that he received.

We starting using AOD about three weeks ago based on the recommendation of my co-​worker. We couldn’t be happier with the services provided. We adopted a five month old black lab mix puppy without much notice. Ben was able to work it into his schedule to come by and meet us and our dog and get us on the walking schedule right away. We have him come twice a day, once for a potty break and once for a ½ hour walk. Since this was our first puppy in years, I was incredibly anxious about leaving her alone. Ben was very reassuring answering a number of emails about our puppy’s behavior. I’m sure I was more work than the puppy.
AOD is extremely reliable. Ben leaves notes for us telling us the activities of the day. I love coming home to those. I can’t say enough great things about their service. I’ve never used a dog walking service before, but I won’t go without AOD. They are worth every penny.

My dog, Emma, has been with Assembly of Dog for a year now and we have had great luck with them! They are so flexible with my rotating schedule and are always available for last minute changes when I work extra shifts. I have boarded Emma with them a couple of times also and it went very smoothly. They have been wonderful! I wouldn’t have anyone else taking care of Emma! They were also helpful with recommending a dog groomer and dog parks when I moved to this area. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone!

Assembly of Dog provided decent dog walking service right up until they discovered that I had another dog walker and then they immediately stopped providing service. They alleged a whole bunch of reasons for this, such as the safety of my home, confusing my dog with more than one dog walker, etc. All of their reasons were baseless. I definitely don’t want to do business with or recommend a dog walking service that is afraid to compete with the competition. When I told my other dog walking service about this, they laughed. Other dog walking services laughed too since my original post. I’m glad I learned about Assembly of Dog’s poor business philosophy and model. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Dawn and Ben are the best. We have used their boarding service to leave our 2 Jack Russell’s while we are on vacation. We weren’t sure how Lily, our 15 year old, would do. She came through with flying colors although there was 1 tussle with the cat. Pono, our 5 year old, just loves being in the yard and exploring and looking for those elusive squirrels. We even got updates AND pictures sent to us while we were away. They are the best place we’ve used. When you walk in, you know it’s a dog friendly place and my «kids» are happy to be there.
