Tranquil Inn & Spa LLC is located in southern Indiana along the White River. In addition to our B&B, Tranquil Inn’s accommodations include a two bedroom cottage and suite situated just steps from the main house. Amenities include off-​street parking, fireplaces, kitchenette, free WiFi, king beds, and whirlpool tubs. Our gazebo is a popular place to curl up with a book, visit with friends, or to take a rest listening to the water flowing from the waterfall. Several flower gardens on the property fill the senses with bright, beautiful hues and sweet aromas. Massage therapy services are available on-​site. Tranquil Inn is centrally located to many area attractions including West Baden and French Lick Springs Hotels and Casino and the amish community and their many specialty shops.

History

Established in 2007.

Jan Waggoner’s dream of operating a B&B became a reality when she and her husband, Richard Yowell, purchased the historical Force House. After a year of extensive renovations the building at back of the property was completed, housing the McCarty Cottage and the Tranquil Inn Spa, and opened July of 2007. A year later the main house was opened for business and features the Stiles Room and Force Suite. Needing to expand a few years later the Spa was moved into the main house and the French Quarter Suite was opened as a fourth unit available to guests.
