Went for the lunch specials and they are priced well. Service was non existent and not anywhere to be found. Food was good, but it took forever to place the order and upon finishing forever to get the waitress to bring a check. Go here if you are not in a hurry. Great place to bring the kids but make sure you have something to keep them occupied. The TV is always set on channel 12 news.

I used to live in Shirley and eat at this place commonly. I would always order the sesame chicken dinner combo that comes with an egg roll. The sesame chicken is so delicious… I now live in Westbury and have tried 3 different Chinese food places around here and I can’t find anything nearly as good as tony’s sushi is. I had the half price sushi once before and it was alright but sushi isn’t really my thing. If you like just regular Chinese food, you’ll love the Chinese food from here. Giving this 5 stars pretty much because I miss my sesame chicken dinners.

Where to start?! From 3 – 5 is sushi happy hour. Sushi is half price. We figured that was a great deal. Maybe not. When we arrived around 4pm there was no one there. It was a Monday and early, so okay. We were seated and brought out an appetizer. Sauce with wontons. They were cold. Not tasty. We ordered a few rolls. Not tasty either. They were warm. No flavor. My wife ordered steamed dumplings. They were dense. ALOT of dough. Like alot!!! They stuffing was okay. I guess you get what you pay for. The setup of the restaurant is odd. You enter a door to the carry out area and from there you go through another door to the dine in area. Now I know this a fire hazard because there are 2 doors in the dine in area that you can enter or exit through but they were both locked. So the only door to enter and exit is through the carry out area. Safety First!!!

I have gotten Thai take out from here twice. Pad Thai and Pineapple fried rice. While the portions are overtly large the quality of the Thai food isn’t that great. It basically tastes like Chinese cuisine masquerading as Thai. Pad Thai was dry. Pineapple fried rice was like Chinese veggie fried rice with chicken and pineapple added. Sesame chicken was good. Nice touch that they give you little tea bags with your meal though. Maybe it’s better to dine in. Also– Thai entrees are over priced for dinner. It’s not even $ 12 in manhattan Thai spots. Only get it as lunch if you are going with the Thai here.

Half price dine in Sushi from 3pm-5pm. Can’t beat that. Food is always good. There sushi party platters are always amazing! I’d prefer if they played music or turning the volume on the tv up a bit. In the dining room it’s usual very quiet with only a few other diners. You’re either listening to somebody else’s conversation or they’re listening to yours. ._.

Awesome sushi spot in Mastic. Asian fusion place so you have a choice of Thai, Chinese and Japanese. The shopping center looks a little shady but the inside looks amazing since they renovated the place. Definitely worth checking out.

I’m glad we have a sushi place in Shirley, now! It used to be just a Chinese takeout kind of place. You have no idea how happy I am about this! It’s a nice place to go to for a date or a graduation celebration. I’ve been there mostly for happy hour and haven’t seen the place packed yet. Maybe it’s busier during dinner hours.
