I’ve lived here for 10 years and Shingletown store has always been my go-to. Recently, an employee of theirs passed away and there is now a new employee working the counters. She is short, older, blonde. I walked to the machine to get a self-serve soft serve cone, the machine was running and I tapped the lever to make sure the dime-sized drop was frozen, it was. This woman comes out from behind the corner and says«Oh, I’m not sure Ted turned it back on yet.» She listened to see it was running. Ted came trucking across the store and said it wasn’t ready and that it wouldn’t be cold enough yet. I opened my mouth to say ‘okay’ and the woman screeched«I JUSTTRIEDTOTELLHERBUTSHEJUST…» A complete idiotic overreaction to the situation, she treated me like a child and even long term employee Ted was a dick about it. I will be taking my very frequent business to Reeds from here on out.
