This place is beyond amazing!!! The moment i walked in i was in shock and awe I’ve had my new stinger x compound bow sence aug 29 th i accedently intercepted my birthday gift while my wife was at work so i was suppose to get it on sep second emidiatly i obtained permission to open it but to my dissapointment it was far frim redy to shoot:(so i ordered stuff on line to no avail amazon deopped the ball big time so finnaly today sep sixth i was on my way home to sacramento from mother-​in-​law s house in Pollack pines and my amazing fiancé found a gem this place as soon as we walked in i met Kevin my new besti he just dosent know it yet lol in less than five minutes i learned how to tune and set up my bow not only were the parts i had old anx obseleet on my new bow but now fix ed and tuned free of charge kevin made my day feel lime total christmas but most importantly he showed true awesomeness the family owned buisness is beyond amazing his parents raised an awesome person he disnt even try to sale me any of the million parts and pieces they easily could have to get me up and shooting but he told me about a web sight ro find and source cheeper used parts and fixed my stuff and gave me a free lesson and hit me all sighted in my groups were so tight i was amazed he even gluex me a lil leval in my ancient sight and coustom built me six arrows and put in a new peep sight im home now and still gitty with excrement like i was when keven had me on there awesome indoor range i cant go on enough about how awesome this place is i will always make the drive to absolute every time for all my parts and advice i also plan on taking lessons just to know i am recieveing the absolute best you will ever find when it comes to the sport in every catagory from lessons staff knowledge and rop of the line gear! This is a great place for any Archery enthusiast, whether you’re an amateur or professional. The staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly! They have a nice indoor range and pro shop.

This past Sunday my girlfriend made a reservation here to celebrate my birthday. I have been to Absolute Archery one time before for a friend’s bachelor party. I had a lot of fun then and have been wanting to do archery since. Leading up to my birthday, my girlfriend had researched ranges and presented me with a list of options. I recognized Absolute in the list, remembered my good experience and read the positive reviews, so it seemed like a great idea to go here again.
On Sunday, my friends gathered at my place and right as we’re about to leave to make our 10AM appointment, my girlfriend gets a call from Absolute. They say that they’ve booked a large group for a wilderness and safety course and that my group needs to reschedule. It wasn’t even a matter of whether we were able or willing to but just that we had to. They completely pushed us aside for a bigger group. I was shocked. Not only had I been looking forward to having this experience with my friends, but it would have been my girlfriend’s and her sister’s first time as well.
It also turned out that we couldn’t find any other places open so we had to scrap archery all together. It’s not the end of the world and we’ll figure out another time to go but it won’t be to Absolute Archery. I know that there are helpful and friendly people who work here and that others have had a good time but I’m not going to support a business that is willing to treat their customers this way.

Archery, to me, is a beautiful sport that interested me for a long time now. I decided to go with my gut and hopefully find a new hobby to pursue. My mom had found a Groupon for this place (groupons=good) and told me to come here, since it was closer to where I live. Now, I had already paid for an archery lesson at a different place, but that lesson was about a week away and I was too impatient to wait any longer (I have been waiting for a month). Absolute Archery was able to give me a lesson THE DAY I found out and called about the Groupon. Absolute Archery deserves the full 5 stars. The service is amazing and the staff is very friendly. So far, I have taken two lessons with Kevin and received a lot of tips and knowledge. Kevin was very polite and helpful when it came to teaching me how to use the Bow and Arrow. Absolute Archery in general carries a good and warm vibe. I highly recommend this place if you’re wanting lessons in archery or even if you are wanting to purchase any equipment :)

I brought my new bow in with a site and rest and Darin did a complete bow set up for me. He also added a peep site, a kisser button, a d loop, a stabalizer and set me up with some perfectly spined arrows.
The whole process took a couple hours and he was full of great, unbiased advice and tons of helpful information. This is a great family owned business with fantastic customer service. They are obviously very passionate about archery and they want to help people succeed!
This is going to be my go to archery shop from now on and if you havent been there yet you should definitely check it out and support this local family business.

Super helpful. Family run. Literally behind the car dealership. Good thing we got good directions, or we’d have missed it. We were told we’d get measured to buy, but it was more of a second of sizing up by this expert. We found 2 great beginner bows. One is on order since I’m a lefty to shoot. We were able to buy half a dozen arrows out the door, ordering a dozen more in our respective sizes and picking our fletching colors. That was an extra perk. I thought we’d spend a lot more money, but the samich sage takedown bow was only $ 130 which is $ 15 cheaper than the sportsman’s warehouse that just opened in my hood. I’m going with the little fox to be here in 4 days. I also wanted to buy this ridiculous $ 100 bag o smoosh for target practice and Darin talked me down to a bag that I can out my own old cotton rags (aka sewing scraps, old towels, tees, socks, etc) in… for $ 12-​. Yeah. I’ll be back. This place is perfect for a beginner like me and he never gave my dumb questions a second look. I do wish they made an archery for dummies sheet, but that’s why the internet exists, right? Free day at the archery range with purchase and under 17 is free. Pretty excited to return. There is his book of family pics of Darin from ittle bittle to now with the many beasties he’s taken down in case you want to check out his street cred. And a bear in the corner. And mounts on the walls.

I bought a new compound bow for my daughter for Christmas. They took great care of her and set her up for success!

Absolute Archery is a brand new archery shop in Shingle Springs. They are starting to build up a good inventory of bows and accessories. They are carrying Athens bows and will be adding new bow lines very soon.
In addition to their great pro shop, they have a 25 yard indoor range where they offer lessons and will soon be hosting a shooting league.
Darin Mack, the owner, is well known archer in the area with many years experience in every aspect of the sport. I always like to see good people live out their dreams. If you are in Shingle Springs and have an interest in archery, please stop by and give this new business a shot!
