This place is TOTALLYAMAZING! I’ve been there twice. The chicken fried chicken was delicious as was the two sides that I had(corn casserole and mac and cheese). We came back two days later and tried the shrimp po boy with sweet potato fries and cole slaw. Omg I’ve never tasted such great slaw! Good stuff as well as the service! The deserts(Italian cream cake and ultimate chocolate cake) were delicious!

Recently went for a weeknight dinner. I had a delicious, juicy bacon cheeseburger and home made chips that would have easily been $ 15 at Big Orange. Topped it off with a slice of chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, man O’ man, that was some good cake. My dining companion had a southwest salad that he also highly enjoyed and recommended. One and only complaint was the floor seemed sticky and dirty, could use a good mopping.

I absolutely adore this place. It’s a wonderful atmosphere. They have homemade ice cream, amazing desserts, and take and bake items. The bakery does an incredible job. I highly recommend the strawberry short cake.

Clean stylish good food in a town desperate for anything more than gas stations and fast food. Went on Saturday morning and they had just ended breakfast at 10:30. Not happy. Who gets up early on Saturday for breakfast? The lady behind me was also disappointed about breakfast. Get a clue! Settled for a vanilla latte and blueberry muffin which they smartly warmed for me. The latte was too sweet. But the muffin was great. This place is a fine bakery. Seemed awkward coping with breakfast to lunch transition. Need to work more on presenting a polished experience to customers to better match the stylish décor.

Our second time to go for breakfast. The first time was soon after it opened. Service was not good, orders got mixed up; food was so-so. Went today, a couple of years afterwards. There were three people at one table and one person at another. Our orders did not come out at the same time. My biscuits and gravy were barely warm, the cheese grits were simple grits with cheese melted on top. My husband’s breakfast came out one part at a time, and the coffee was lukewarm. We won’t be back, at least not for breakfast. Too bad as this café’ is just a couple of blocks away from our home and we usually eat Saturday morning breakfast out.

Maybe it’s the time of day, maybe it’s when I choose to come here, heck maybe it’s me… but I feel that they just can’t «get out the blocks» when I come here. I came once more to Two Sisters to give it a whirl.(It’s been over a year and I swore it off in all honesty.) Today was a day of bad weather and I have that in consideration of course. They started late, and the wifi was working subpar due to the temps. With that being said it’s not a factor. What are the factors. The customer service. They’ve stepped up their ability since my last visit. As previous people have said the food was prepped and delivered promptly. The young lady at the counter even came by to check in on me. That was a bonus. Muy bueno. The food, for the price, is what you’d expect… but while I was eating my Stuffed Biscuit covered in gravy and sipping my house coffee… The only thing that came to mind was that it tasted like I was eating at the DFAC on base(Dining Facility). When I think local eatery I think of what I live near, and I suppose that’s unfair of me to set those expectations for this eatery… but I’ll always pay a little more for homemade gravy, or a better sausage patty on my homemade biscuit. This review I feel has gone on far too long and has been more of a rant, but once more I will say I had higher hopes for Two Sisters Café. They have moved up to three stars, and I’m sure they have a grand following. Sadly, I may be a passerby until the next time I decide to try it out.

I’ve been here a handful of times and really liked it. The first time, I had roast beef, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The second time, I had a turkey sandwich and fries. My mom had a blackened chicken sandwich and chips. It was all very good. I would definitely recommend them. My aunt introduced us to this place. She ordered cakes from them for the holidays. If I remember correctly, she had a lemon pound cake and a red velvet cake. Both were excellent.

Not from Sherwood, but was in the area on 6÷13÷15 and stopped for lunch. The young lady who greeted us stated she had only been there one week, but she was very friendly, knowledgable, and worked hard to provide good service. The dining room is clean — a simple design that is very charming. A comfortable café’ feel. We ordered a beef roast sandwich and the 1⁄3 pound burger. Both came with homemade chips, and we ordered the fresh cut fries as a side(for $ 1.99). The food was outstanding — cooked to perfection and tasty. The beef was tender, the burger was juicy and full of flavor and the fries had a light seasoning. For us, the best part was NOTHING was over-salted. The meat didn’t need any sauces of any kind. Prices were good — we were pleasantly surprised. Thanks TS!

Stopped for breakfast before heading into work. Nice building and good location. I was the only customer at the time. Ordered the breakfast with eggs, bacon, cheese grits and biscuits & gravy. Came out quickly. I don’t know if the gravy is homemade but it was good. Everything cooked as expected. Good price. Didn’t try any desserts. They looked good but it was too early for anything that sweet.

Service was great and so was the food. I had a burger with the homemade potato chips and I ate every bite. My companion had the strawberry romaine salad, which she said was yummy. I also had the Ding Dong cake for desert, which was delicious. Highly reccomend!

I gave them a 4th chance after good break from them. Their food has always been great, but the service was horrible! I can proudly say they have button downed & fixed their service! The young man who took my order was friendly and brought my food promptly to the table! I’ll come back sooner!

This was my second visit to this place. I had the smoked turkey sandwich with their homemade chips. It was so good. My first visit, I ha their daily special, turkey with dressing, which was also delicious. The ambience is great with nice old folks music. All the food seems fresh when presented at your table.

This was my first visit and I was quite underwhelmed. The menu is small, which is fine, but some of those few items were not available… like soup. When I asked what the soup of day was, the woman taking my order looked confused and said, «I don’t think we have any today.» There are no vegetarian options, but I saw a southwestern salad that looked promising, so I ordered it without the chicken. The menu listed all the ingredients in each salad. The southwestern salad did not list cheese as an ingredient, so I did not ask them to leave it off. When it arrived, there was a huge pile of cheese on my salad. I told the waitress the menu did not list cheese as one of the salad ingredients and she told me I was wrong. I told her I was quite sure, but she just walked away. I was able to scrape off most of the cheese. A few minutes later she came back and said the menu had a misprint and should have said there was cheese on the salad. At that point, she did offer to replace it, but I’d gotten most of the cheese off already and I didn’t want to wait longer than I already had. I was eating with a party of four and our food was brought out one plate at a time over a 10 minute time frame. So, those who got their food early had to either feel awkward about eating while others waited or let their food get cold. And, one person in our group got the wrong food. But, she was the last one to get her food and she decided to just eat what she got. The food itself was pretty good, but the service was so poor it is unlikely I will hurry back any time soon.

I think this place is great. They have good, fresh food with daily specials. The menu is small but plenty to choose from. Their desserts are awesome. They will sell out of certain desserts, so sometimes it’s hit and miss with certain desserts. I love their cookies! I also support local owned business.

I was very hesitant to try Two Sisters after reading all of the mixed reviews. I really wanted to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt, and I’m glad that I did! I took my in-laws and my toddler to grab a bite here on a Monday afternoon around lunch hour. The restaurant was busy, but I think the wait was only around 10 – 15 minutes for our 3 sandwiches and children’s meal to be served. They did mess-up our order by adding mayo to my mother-in-law’s sandwich and forgetting my son’s cookie, but not a huge problem — easy fixes and not deal breakers for me. The issues were handled very graciously by the staff, good customer service! My chicken salad sandwich was served on a fresh croissant and was really good, I also really liked the homemade potato chips. I was also impressed that my son’s order off the children’s menu(chicken tenders) were hand-breaded pieces of chicken breast, and not the frozen chicken nuggets that he gets at most places. He gobbled them up, and he’s a tough critic! We did not have dessert, but it appeared they had a good selection available on the day that we ate there and they all looked delicious. I recommend giving this cute little eatery a try, the service might be hit or miss but I had a good first visit and will gladly be dining here again.

Updated post — I went for lunch during the week. Service was fast and food was great. I’m wondering if the service problems are on the weekend.

Good food. Horrendous service. I have had their catered food on numerous occasions, and it has always been quite good. The desserts are outstanding. I simply cannot understand the difficulty in providing customer service in the storefront. Of three trips to the café, each has been met with punishingly slow service, even though there was no crowd to serve. If you love the food, have it catered in, otherwise you will want to scream in frustration.
