Cannery Row Apartments

Duran is a wonderful manager – genuinely warm, honest, and a lovely presence at this attractive complex. Kudos to the designers of Cannery Row – the public spaces are welcoming and light, people are friendly, and the town of Sherwood is charming. Great fish and chips at Clancy’s are a five minute walk away. Cannery Row is well maintained and we look forward to moving in.

The complex noticed through an audit they didn’t charge us (and many others in the complex) 8 months of parking & storage to total $ 400.
Otherwise, this is a fun place to live where it’s easy to meet neighbors.

We made the long-​distance move from Chicago to Sherwood’s Cannery Row apartments, sight unseen. The buildings definitely held up to the photos, clean and very well decorated (always smells good in the lobby, too!). We did have a slight issue with the location of our apartment in relation to the public works building next door, but the staff at Cannery Row were responsive. They worked hard to find solutions to suit our preferences, as much as their power over the situation would allow. Additionally, staff was very timely with any maintenance requests.
The location is excellent, walkable to many of Sherwood’s best features (including Stella Olsen park and the farmer’s market). While our time was brief with Cannery Row, it was a good place to live with helpful and friendly staff. It’s definitely a nice place to live.

We moved in April to Cannery Row and it already feels like home. You just can’t beat the community atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming, kind, and we take care of one another. Be it holding a door for someone, watching an animal while someone is away, planning gatherings in our main lounge, or encouraging people at our gym to give it your all! We hope to stay here for a few years and watch these new apartments grow.

I have lived here since December, shortly after the property opened. It’s been a great experience. Quiet, clean, and surrounded by very friendly neighbors! My favorite part is it’s within walking distance to all the great businesses of Old town Sherwood.

My wife and I moved in here in June. We love it, very clean, friendly neighbors and staff. It is super convenient to be so close to Old Town Sherwood and the farmer’s market.

My boyfriend and I moved here back in March, and we have been nothing but pleased! The staff and maintenance crew are super friendly, and are always helping in any way that they can. The community is clean, and the apartments itself are absolutely beautiful. Definitely the best apartments I have ever lived in, by far!

We looked all over Portland for a place to live, and were happy to find Cannery Row Apartments. We’ve been living here since April 2014, and have been really happy with everything. The folks in the office are great, and they plan regular events. We’ve lived in other apartments where we didn’t even know our neighbors. Now we get together for monthly potlucks. It really is a community. The apartments are new, clean, and well-​appointed. Plenty of room, especially for the cost. The neighbors are respectful and quiet. The buildings are secure. There’s a free gym in one of the buildings. And there’s a community room where we have get-​togethers or you can just hang out and use the free wifi. Old Town Sherwood is just a couple of blocks away. Sherwood’s Saturday Farmer’s Market is virtually across the street. It really is a nice place to live. Highly recommended!
DECEMBER 2014 UPDATE: After living here for 8 months, we’re still very happy with the facility and the management. There have been no problems whatsoever, and the folks in the office and in maintenance have been very responsive to minor issues. I’ve noticed that a couple residents have left negative reviews here recently because of changes to rules. I just want to publicly and personally thank Duran for all she does for us. Things started out here with no rules in hopes that everyone would be good neighbors, but some people ruin it for everyone else when no rules are in place. As a courteous resident who cares about my community’s livability, I’m perfectly fine with seeing rules put in place when people are out of line or when people take advantage of the owners’ and Duran’s generosity. If you can’t be respectful enough to understand reasons for the implementation of rules, not only are you looking forward to your lease end, so are your neighbors. When we’re all living so close, I respect and appreciate a property manager who stands up for the quiet, respectful tenants. If that’s what you’re looking for, Cannery Row might be a good fit for you. If not, I’m not too upset if you don’t want to be my neighbor.
