Cellarman’s American Pub

Cellermans is a local pub. The food is good and they have a great selection of beer and spirits. The boneless wings are really good. They hand bread them and they are super soft. The oysters are great for a small town and are still good though. The beer specials change daily and this can include what beers are offered. They are currently pushing to get their own brewery added but need signatures to get this passed.

Since the new delivery service has started I’ve ordered from here at least 6 times in over a month. Very good food and its brought to me. I’m very happy about that. Thank y’all and keep up the great job

Sherman’s favorite Bar. Delicious drinks, beers, shots, and shooters. The drink menu is elaborate and exquisite. You can’t go wrong with the «big spud» baked potato stuffed to the brim with delicious fixings. The stoplight shots are a personal favorite of mine.

I ate here a few times in the past and the food was excellent but the smell of old beer and cigarettes was overwhelming. Now they are a no smoking establishment and the smell is gone.
The food is great and the staff is nice and take good care of your needs. Wish the screens were bigger for watching the games but hey you can’t have it all. Overall a great place with good food and service. Plus the menu has an excellent variety to choose from. One of if not the best hamburgers in Sherman. The buns are soft but yet toasted and not covered in butter or oil. The meat is a thick piece covered in your choice of cheese. Vegetables are fresh and they don’t use lettuce as a filler. Large portions at fair prices .
They like most other restaurants now days are overcharging for a glass of tea. I think it’s at 2.95 but It is all you can drink and not watered down.

I’ve been there several times. The menu is very extensive, so they have just about anything you would possibly want to eat. The food is good. It’s a pub with a long drink list, too. I’m not much of a drinker, but their fruit flavored ales are an interesting treat.
The atmosphere is dark, but eclectic and interesting. The service is good. I’ve always gone in the late afternoon before the bar crowd shows up. I hear it gets a little crowded and hectic then.

Great pub. Friendly, attentive staff, cold beer with lots of choices.
The Ruben was great! My guy really liked his burger, too. Go for the sweet potato fries. Too good and large portion.
We just moved here. It is one of our new favorites. We shall return.

The atmosphere is great for grabbing a few drinks with your friends after a hards day work or just wanting some good food with a nice pub feel to it. The staff a quick on their feet and pleasant as can be. The food so far has been great, I would suggest trying the baked potato. when they say loaded. they mean it

Love the atmosphere! Margaritas are good an food is awesome! Loud but great service an fun times. Wish it was non smoking. Gets cloudy on the weekends when it’s busy.

Went with a group from my company. The beer list was quite a selection of offerings from around the globe & many very hard to find.
The appetizers were good but your typical (Deep south) American fare: potato skins, fried dill pickles, fried green beans, etc.
Brick oven pizza was also good. We ordered several different kinds to share.
We sat outside on the deck. It was a tad hot to be sitting there in early July. Heard the inside used to be smoking, but it no longer is. I would eat there again if I wanted great beer & good pizza next time I’m in Sherman.

I’ve lived in Sherman most of my life, but for some reason never came here until now. We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday and we had a blast. We ordered several drinks and shots. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent as well. I shared a dozen oysters and then ordered the fish and chips. My brother inlaw had nachos. I can’t remember the details of the nachos but I remembered he liked it. My wife got the loaded potato and boy was it loaded! Will go back for sure.

Went in one time will not go back. This place is filthy looks as though they haven’t cleaned in years. The bathrooms smelled so bad we could smell them at our table. Waitresses are rude unless your a regular and then they’re all over them and you can’t get any service.

As long as you go into this venue knowing that this is not a ‘pub’ but a ‘bar’ you won’t be disappointed. They have an expansive menu, good customer service and a good selection at the bar. It must be said, however, that they do not carry any kind of ciders such as Strongbow which, for me, is a bit disappointing. Also, they do allow smoking inside so if you are sensitive to such things I would suggest going elsewhere. Otherwise, this place is definitely worth a visit.

This is the best bar in town, without a doubt. It gets packed on the weekends. Closed Sundays though. Dave makes an amazing bloody mary! Everything here is good… pizzas are fun, Philly is awesome, the stuffed potatoes are ridiculous they are HUGE! The side bar is non-​smoking until 9pm for those that smoke drives insane.
Also, they have a patio, which is now enclosed in plastic to make it bearable when colder.
The staff is attentive, and like I said, nothing here is bad! Lot’s of beers on tap to try out, and good liquor selection.
Try the Peace Pipe shot. They have a shot list too with lots of options. Oh, and daily specials as well.

Nice atmosphere for a bar hopping music is very entertaining, very crowded on the weekend, and if you can’t deal with smoke this place is not for you.
I ordered the big easy pizza, which is craw fish and shrimp, it’s really delicious and best pizza I have tasted

When I lived in Sherman back in the day, I was a regular at Cellarman’s. It was here that I started to learn about good beer, and have enjoyed many an afternoon on their patio. When I returned for my *ahem* 10^th college reunion, I was a bit worried that either it or I would have changed too much. I’m happy to report it’s still the same cool place, with great beer, tasty food, and nice staff.
It’s usually pretty busy with college kids and locals, and definitely it’s hard to get large tables there. It’s not really good for kids though, especially as they allow smoking inside (how is that even possible?!). I guess that’s still allowed in Grayson country though, so I can’t really hold that against Cellarman’s If for some reason happen to find yourself in Sherman, and want a good beer and some pub food, it’s the place to go.
