I read through the 1 star reviews after staying here and getting ready to leave this review. My experience was completely different. The room was clean and tidy. The front desk was really friendly and helpful. The guy even walked me to the room which was cool and unique. I was a little late checking out but they didn’t hassle me about it. I booked this hotel because it was affordable and very close to the 405 freeway. It literally took a minute to get on the freeway from here. It’s close to Ventura blvd and I got to hang out at the Galleria which had a really cool vibe. I would stay here again. Not bad for the price at all!

The place is run down and needs remodeling. Rooms range from 50 — 70 bucks so if you are looking for the bare minimum shelter stay here. The carpets old the tv isn’t even a flat screen the décor is so bad Its almost funny to think they leave it … The bathroom ceiling has a leak and the wall is all puffed up like the water is waiting to burst out .
I accidently went to the wrong door and my key worked on a door that wasn’t mine so your room key works for all rooms … not safe .
The manager will be waiting at 10:58 to kick you out.

Don’t stay here. We made the mistake of coming here because the neighboring places were full or crazy expensive. But the owner kept changing the prices and adding more fees and trying to sneak in other costs. It was not the price he stated or restated after we confronted him over it. Very slimy. Oh, and the room is small, the box spring is dirty and showing, the shower appears grimy, and every television channel is cloudy and white. Ugh.

I took one look at the room, saw how dirty the bed was, and went to the front desk saying I’d stay somewhere else. Nonetheless, they charged my card twice when I didn’t even stay there once! They have since told me my card has been credited, but it has not and I’ve had to file a claim with the bank. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I show up past midnight on a sunday morning. A nice man says he can give me a room for $ 75 including tax and charges my card. Owner show up and canceled the transaction, saying it’s the only room left and everywhere else is sold out. Asks me if I want to pay $ 89 plus tax, to which I declined. Didn’t appear to be a nice place anyway. I wound up finding a more optimal location for $ 60 including tax.

If you happen to stumble in on this place, even if it’s a dark, cold, and stormy night, RUN LIKE HELL!!!
Rooms are filthy; owner allows smoking in «non-​smoking» rooms; carpets are patched; owner is rude.
It was soooo bad, I would not even accept the room. The owner argued with me and charged my credit card anyway. (He lied and told the credit card company we spent the night!) My credit card company had to reverse the charges (after they saw that I stayed somewhere else instead). I stayed somewhere much better for the same price.
