History

Established in 2013.

Michelle Seañez is the founding attorney of Seañez Legal. After 8 years with a medium-​sized law firm, Ms. Seañez opted to branch out on her own in order to focus on those practice areas which most interested her.

Since opening the doors to Seañez Legal, Ms. Seañez has provided production counsel services for various feature films, documentaries, licensing services for brands sold on the Home Shopping Network, branding services for a vegan, cruelty free skin care line, general representation for a number of authors, and various trademark services for local, national, and international businesses.

Business Owner

Michelle Seañez is the founding attorney of Seanez Legal and regularly handles intellectual property matters, as well as a corporate and business, entertainment, and transactional matters.

In addition to providing both general counsel and production counsel services, Ms. Seañez also provides general business formation services for both for profit and non-​profit companies, contract review, negotiation and drafting, and business branding and licensing services.

Ms. Seañez has extensive experience in the entertainment field, having worked at a production company, literary agency and major motion picture studio, as well as providing both production counsel services to feature film production companies.

Ms. Seañez proudly provides pro bono legal services to veterans of the US military and provides discounted rates for legal services to members of the military. She also volunteers with the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Armed Forces Committee.
