Joanna has taken care of my sweet pup both when I’ve been out of town and has been her dogwalker. She truly loves animals, calls to check in and provide details (which every owner would love). My dog, a rescue who is a bit hesitant to warm up to people, instantly took to Joanna. Joanna cares for my dog like I care for my dog and she is consistent and trustworthy. Highly recommend.

Joann is the Greatest! She is highly professional, knowledgeable and cares immensely about your pet. Joann is reliable, and has a wonderful nature and gets along well with people as well as your pet. I have never left my loving Snoopy or Mia with a stranger, so I was kind of nervous. However when they met Joann there was an instant bond with her. We were away for a week and she kept us updated everyday of our pets, and kept our home in immaculate condition. Snoopy and Mia were happy to see us when we got home, however as the night wore on, they were looking for Joann. They missed her! That alone tell me that she was very good to them while we were away. I highly recommend Joann. You will not be disappointed!!! :-)

I have been meaning to write this review for a week! Joanna recently took care of our 3 babies while we traveled to Ohio for the holidays. Ranging in age from a 12 month old maltipoo to a 14 year old yorkie, they can be a handful and we don’t trust just anyone with their care! Joanna was great, the dogs love her and you can tell she really loves them as well!

Joanna took great care of our dear dog (14 yo Shepherd mix) through to his last days. She walked him 3 times a week and babysat while we were away. It was love at first site for him and they became fast friends over their year together. I never once worried that anything would happen to him while in her care. Here are some special things about Joanna.
1. She has a most extensive network and can recommend anyone from vets to vitamins to you.
2. She calls with a daily report when she has been with your pet.
3. She is not a vet tech but has very extensive vet experience and is not intimidated by ANY type of at home care your pet may need.
4. She truly loves your pet the way you do and it shows.

We have have the extreme good luck of having JJ of Precious Pets take care of our pets for the last few years. We found her through the very positive reviews on Unilocal and we were not disappointed. JJ is an extraordinarily caring person and unbelievably attentive dog and cat sitter. She is also so genuine in her affection for dogs and cats, showing those in her care so much love. In addition, JJ is quite knowledgeable about medical issues affecting both young and elderly pets and has encyclopedic knowledge of the best vets throughout Los Angeles for virtually any pet ailment. We have had complete confidence in JJ when she has taken care of our pets while we have been away and have always returned to find them in wonderful condition and the house and the pets’ items in great shape. I doubt if there is a more caring, knowledgeable, and dependable pet sitter in all of Los Angeles. We give JJ our highest recommendation without any reservation.

J. J of Precious Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers is quite an incredible lady. I first met J. J when I lived in Sherman Oaks, then I moved to Beverly Hills and for the past several years live in WLA. I have seen J. J with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and she has a heart of gold. She is very good with dogs and can calm those that are strong and disobedient. J. J took care of my elderly cat for many years and was able to administer pills orally. I have seen her administer sub-​q-​fluids to cats when owners could not. Cats are usually more difficult than dogs and she has a way of treating all pets in a way that exudes confidence and caring. I have found her over the years to be invaluable to me in terms of her knowledge of mediciations for both dogs and cats. J. J also knows what are the best foods and which Veterinarians seem to be the most qualified for a specific illness. J. J has always gone above and beyond. She takes care of client’s pets the same way she takes care of her own pets. J. J always goes above and beyond anything one could expect and she is dependable, conscientious, knowledgeable, caring and loving. I can go away and know that my pet has been given the best care possible in my absence.

I have a job where I work long hours. I told myself I wouldn’t even consider bringing a dog or cat into my family until I found a pet sitter I could trust, who could love and take care of them as if they were her own.
Joanna is that pet sitter. You should see the way my dog runs up to her and kisses her – he loves her so much! I’m so grateful to have her, because now I can go to work with the peace of mind that my dog is safe, having a great time, and getting lots of love (not to mention exercise) while I’m away.
A lot of people call themselves pet sitters, but Joanna is the «real deal.» She is extremely knowledgeable about animals, and she has a genuine love and compassion for them. She loves taking care of pets, and it shows.

I love Joanna, and best of all my kitty Max loves Joanna. Recently I had to leave town for a week during a tough time for my 18 and a half year old kitty Max and I couldn’t have done it without Joanna’s dedicated care of him. She is incredibly knowledgable medically and deeply intuitive in her care of our furry friends. She patiently fed my Maxie each meal by hand… talk about committed! Max and I were instantly comfortable with her, like meeting an old friend. She administered all his meds and fluids with confidence and ease and wrote me sweet and thorough daily updates telling me about how Max was doing medically and emotionally … Thank you Joanna, you saved us from what could have easily been a very bad situation.

Whenever I am in Los Angeles on business, which could be two to three times a year for a 3 – 4 week duration each time, rather than leave my four-​year-​old cat, Heidi, behind in some commercial boarding facility I bring her with me. And on the advice of a business associate I contacted Precious Pet Sitters, and I thank my lucky stars to have found this company. Joanna’s love for the pets she cares for has given me the confidence I need that my Heidi will be in good hands when I leave her. Joanna has such a special way of communicating with animals and my cat readily responds to her. She is by far the best caregiver for pets I have ever encountered, and I cannot imagine using anyone else when I am in the area. One of the things I really like about Joanna is that she thinks of the pets she cares for as children, which puts us on the same wavelength.
With Joanna, you’re getting so much more than just a pet sitter or dog walker. She is so well informed about medications if they need to be administered and is so fine-​tuned to your animal’s emotional and physical needs. She’s so good at what she does she actually has referrals from Vets. When I checked out something she observed about my cat with the Vet she turned out to be absolutely right.
The love and caring that Joanna has for animals is so powerful, that they can feel it as soon as she walks in the room. She got right down on the floor with my «scaredy» cat Heidi and spoke to her so lovingly and gently, that my little scaredy cat went right over to her and rolled over for a tummy rub!
I have found Precious Pets to be a real treasure!

Joanna has been such a blessing for me and my cat. My kitty was recently diagnosed with renal failure and needs to be given sub cutaneous fluids 3 times a week. My veterinarian recommended Joanna to me as, in addition to pet sitting, house sitting and dog walking, she makes house calls to give sub-​q fluids to sick pets. It’s been such a relief not having to schlep my kitty in to the vet’s office to have them do it for me, and put her through the unpleasantness of that whole ordeal. Joanna has a key to my house, let’s herself in and gives the fluids to my cat, while I’m away at work during the day on her scheduled days– reliably! So I get to come home to a happy, energized kitty cat! We thank you Joanna!

Joanna is amazing! I have never felt such warmth and compassion from someone towards my dog, than I have with her. It is such a relief knowing that my baby is in good hands. She offers everything, and will work with my hetic schedule, which is hard to find, because everything for me is last minute. I live in Studio City, and work in West Hollywood, but Joanna will come and get her for walks where ever you are. Not to mention her prices are reasonable. When I go out of town she comes over and watches her too. Bottom line, the best review I can give is that I TRUST her with my dog, who is like my kid! lol :-)
