I ate pizza from here. The pepperoni pizza was very salty. Good thing I didn’t pay for it. I was very disappointed with the pizza. Also this place is a little pricy. I don’t think I’ll be eating here any time soon.

I hate to give them only two stars, because I love their pizza, but their customer service drives me crazy! Every time I call to place an order, who ever is taking my order cannot WAIT to get me off the phone… talking quickly, cutting me off. I get one item out and he’s already going for my address. Never asks me how I’m paying or if I want anything else. I have to interrupt him saying goodbye to tell him I want more added to my order AND that I want to pay by credit card. This always results in errors. Calling back to get my credit card information again, the driver always has to call again to get my apartment number and the order is always wrong when it gets here. My fiancé and I always order the same thing. Two sprites, two ranches and a cheese pizza. Today I got two sprites, two root beers and a cheese pizza. Of course, they offer to have their driver bring the ranch back over, but I won’t wait another 30 minutes, while the pizza gets cold and screw the driver over, preventing him from making money on other runs, for a mistake that someone on the phone made. Slow down. Take one second to LISTEN to your customers on the phone. So frustrated!

I am very sorry to write a bad review, but we got a Sicilian pie delivered and did not enjoy it. The cheese was far too thick, the crust was chewy and tasteless, but the sauce was decent. Also generous with the pepperoni. We won’t be ordering this kind of pie from here again. In fairness the delivery time was much less than expected(30 min. vs. 45 – 1 hr.) and the delivery guy was very courteous.

So just ordered a pizza and a salad. Specifically asked for no tomatoes and onions but behold salad came with both on. Called and spoke to the manager in charge. He wanted to send a new salad but since my guests were hungry I said forget it. He was nice enough to credit my account for next time Being a business owner mistakes happen. The important thing is satisfying a customer to make sure they leave happy

The pizza is alright… better ask for extra cheese because they hardly put cheese on their pies. The dough seems like it is frozen… Bring your Amex black card, too. Once is enough. Not a very friendly staff either

This was my first time trying this pizza as I was excited by the smell outside the door, and as I walked in all the famous people on the wall but, after tasting this pizza I could see what everyone was raving about. I had a pepperoni slice which was very thin, the crust was almost burnt, it seemed like no cheese was barely on it and, no sauce it just seemed very oily. I am a native New Yorker and the $ 1.00 is way better then this. I can’t even believe they would call this a NY slice. I hope they can fix this, until then I rather eat blaze pizza.

This is the best New York style pizza I’ve had, by far, in Los Angeles. Thin crust and crispy like it’s supposed to be, good cheese and good sauce. I highly recommend meatball as a topping, it’s amazing! Picking up was easy, it was ready in 15 minutes. Can’t wait to go back!

Today, very good NY style cheese slices. Friendly staff, parking in the back or meter. *Because of the total lack of consistency, I will not be back. *This location at times produces very poor slices, depending on the pie maker of the day. Sometimes they are so anemic in sauce and cheese, that I walk away. Other times, the slices are on point. ** The other location on Ventura Blvd. in Encino, has poor cheese pizza slices all the time.

A friend told us about this place, too expensive for what it is. I wouldn’t believe any celebrities would ever walk there to have that pizza. The parking is a disaster. The place is filthy. You get to choose pizzas that are already made and they warm them up for you. 4 $ a piece which is crazy. Nothing special and you get to pay 42 $ for 8 thin slices(like a large thin pizza) and sodas. It was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had.

This little pizzeria is only a block away from where we live. The food is always great, and their workers are always really attentive. Average wait time for delivery is 40 minutes. Going in and being seated, right away.

This is New York Style in a small storefront type bldg. the pizza came hot and flavorful, the crust crispy and the toppings plentiful. We’ll be back again and again for sure. there is also counter service.

Best New York(New England) pizza place in LA. To all the people that complain about thin crust… its New York style pizza, its supposed to be that way. I always look forward to come here. Staff is friendly, place is clean and it’s fun.

I’m sure New Yorkers will nitpick, but for my Angeleno dollars this is undoubtably the best pizza around. At least the way I like it — thin, crispy crust with a bit of chew, light tomato sauce, perfect amount of cheese and evenly balanced toppings, even when you order two(or three). The price is a bit much($ 4/slice, over $ 20 for a pie) but two slices will leave you full for hours and a pie can last a family of four two days. Really, really good joint to eat at, or to takeaway from. Yay for Mulberry Street, it’s the best pizza in Los Angeles.

We get delivery from here when we need a New York-style thin crust pizza. They’re good and they serve the pizzas big. They’re flexible on having half of it one way and half of it another way. The guy on the phone for delivery is a bit of a sarcastic New Yorker. That’ll either rub you the wrong way or not. Guy seemed a bit resentful I was calling him during his busy day of making pizza… to order pizza. Still, it arrived in one piece, it was delicious and they seem to have it more together than whoever the hell runs Salveminis now.

A quick review. Atmosphere is a solid 10⁄10. Staff is friendly for the most part. Pizza is good, but not the best. Side orders(garlic knots) are ok. Prices are high — individual slices are $ 4 – 6 on average, while pies start at $ 20 and go up from there… EEK! At the end of the day, a good place if you’re alone and need a quick fill. I live in walking distance and go about once a month. But I wouldn’t drive out of my way for it.

Been here before and can say I had a pretty good slice — BUT, the last 2 times and more so today? The worst slice I’ve ever had and the service was robotic until it came time to cash out. I was shocked to see change being made without any sales being rung up on the register – I KNOWWHAT I SAW! I know just what was going on and who was doing it. It is my opinion all the workers was involved in taking from this place and splitting the take at the end of the shift. The guy so was carefree with his actions while the others stood by. I’m gonna miss this place! Wonder what type of business will move in once they close?

Customer service is awful here and they treat you as if you’re bothering them or wasting their time. Been here 3 times and never have they cracked a smile or appear happy to have customers. This is walking distance from our house so that’s why we return but today is the last straw. We called in an order for 1 pizza half BBQ chicken half veggies. Man on the phone said it would be done in 15 minutes. We stopped by the grocery first to pick up beers and by the time we got there it had actually been 30 minutes. When we walked in to pick up the order they said it was almost ready but not yet so we sat down and waited. Five minutes later they asked me what I ordered again, another 10 minutes pass and I ask them how much longer. The guy responded by saying the guy is still making it and it hasn’t been put in the oven yet. We reminded him that we called 30 minutes plus ago and that they told us 15. They responded with shrugging their shoulders and saying they were busy. No real acknowledgement of the inconvenience. We knew then that they didn’t give a rats ass so we decided to leave and not waste our money where it wasn’t wanted. I don’t care how great any pizza is(and theirs is just ok), but no one deserves to get treated that way especially when you didn’t do anything.

I wish this pizza wasn’t as delicious as it was. I wish the lunch special they have wasn’t as reasonable as it was. I wish the vibe inside wasn’t so relaxed. I say this all because the pizza kicks ass. The lunch special is a steal and I work right next door. It’s a great getaway from the office to have a good meal and watch some soccer or ESPN. This all means I spend way to much time in here eating pizza. Never change mulberry.
