Fixed a broken strap on my leather sandal for $ 10, and it was ready next day — they also were very gracious about the fact that I waited 3 weeks to pick it up (oops). I will be returning for future shoe-​fixing needs.

Quality work all the way. May take a couple of days, but worth the wait. Mike is a true craftsman. Good service, pleasant to deal with, you can’t go wrong.

It’s convenient since it’s near me and they do great work but they are very pricey. I had 3 pairs of shoes (1 were low boots) all needed repair for heel scuffage and bottom soles. It cost me $ 145. And this is a cash only establishment. I’ve had similar repairs done at other shoe shops for far less who did equally great work. Plus they aren’t friendly here. I get that may just be how people are but still they do need better customer service. The lady when I went to pick up my shoes didn’t even show me the work they did. She simply handed me the bag and asked for the money. I was the one who had to open bag and inspect work before I paid her and she seemed annoyed at that. Like others have said here, they do great work but they are far from the warm and friendly establishment and are a bit pricey. Just be prepared for cash only and no hellos if you go.

I took my favorite pair of booties to Mike’s Shoe Repair after going to 2 other places who both said that they couldn’t be fixed. Mike’s was able to fix my booties in no time and only charged me $ 10 to save my favorite pair of shoes! I will never go anywhere else! As a quick heads up, it is cash only and you need to prepay for the repairs when you drop your shoes off.

Was referred here by another shop my purse had a huge rip by the strap walked in here to ask if they could fix it. They said yes no problem they said it will be ready in 2 days I also had a small zipper that needed fixing she said np. very well price 15 bucks total wow !! I came back to get my purse it was in perfect condition & they even did the other straps just incase no charge they said… to kind coming back here def if I need anything thank you so much !! :)

Been a loyal customer at Mike’s Shoe Repair for many years. It is a family owned business, always a pleasure seeing Mike and his wife. She is so sweet, patient and knowledgeable of what is necessary. I know better now to take in my designer heels prior to breaking in, they work their magic so I comfortably wear them all night long! Great show repair, efficient and timely. Wouldn’t replace them for anyone else!

I was walking along Ventura and came across this little repair store. I had 2 pairs of shoes in desperate need of attention. I brought them both in and Mike said he couldn’t repair my boots but he did offer up a couple solutions, none of which sounded good to me but I appreciated his determination. My heels just needed new heel caps, as easy as it gets. So I took the boots, left the heels and and $ 9 a couple days later I picked up my shoes. Good as new.
Beware it is cash only, sign says pay before but he let me pay after as all I had was $ 100.

I took my leather handbag to Mike’s for years for repair… because Mike’s was located conveniently nearby and also it seemed like a family owned and operated business that I could trust. However, recently their service has declined as their prices have increased and the woman who handles customers has become unpleasant. Sadly, I will not use them again.

They did a great job, shoes looked great and were done very quickly. Great mom and pop establishment
