Dr Wagner is a no-​nonsense doctor who knows everything about feet. He’s not trying to sell you a bunch of stuff you don’t need, he tells you the truth. He’s got tons of experience and I trust his opinion.

I am diabetic and have never had any problems with my feet. I try to be very careful and aware. I made a mistake and injured 3 toes. I went to see my regular Dr and he immediately referred me to a podiatrist.
Dr Wagner was just down the street so I walker over. He was able to see me immediately. He spend a full 60 minutes working on my toes, then bandaged them, and fit me with a temporary shoe.
He gave me several prescriptions and complete instructions on the care of my foot until the next appointment, scheduled 6 days later.

I agree with Erin. He is the worst. I saw him also on three occasions during which he misdiagnosed my broken bones. He in fact, did not see any! He should not be working, he is FAR past being able to function.
He is incompetent, argumentative and slow. If you need your records or anything handled, you must call 5x and use threats.
His staff is wildly unprofessional and uses the doctor not being around as an excuse to literally not get anything done.
He can barely stand up straight, let alone see and this had me worried at first however, upon going to a second doctor and having an MRI done, I know realize my gut instinct was correct; hes a total quack.
Aside from being unprofessional in mannerisms, he is the same in regards to the work he performs. If you can not read your own x-ray’s or operate your own equipment; signs are its time to retire.
My at most 6 week long injury has become a 13wk plus therapy injury all because of his complete and utter incompetence.

The worst doctor experience I’ve ever had. I saw him on three occasions.
The only foot Dr. Wagner should be near is a Fruit by the Foot.
Argumentative and impatient. If you have any questions you practically have to grab him by the arm to keep him from leaving the room. Mid question he will bark the answer at you, though it will be the answer to a question you weren’t even asking.
When I expressed skepticism at a shoe insert he had hastily cut out of a cheap piece of foam he barked «You’re just being NEGATIVE!» When I asked him to refill my Vicodin, he wrote me a script for Norco. I’ve never even taken Norco and I don’t know how it will affect my ability to work.
If this guy was a cardiologist he probably would have had his medical license revoked by now for being THE WORST EVER.
Dude needs to sit his old bones in a retirement home in Boca Raton and live out his golden years not prolonging his patients’ suffering.
One star for the awesome receptionist lady though.

Doctor Wagner is a nice man but I would not recommend him as a podiatrist. I chose him ironically enough because of the reviews I read on Unilocal.He was described as an older man, who got right to the point… no fuss and prescribed what you needed for your feet. I respect a seasoned veteran so I made the choice to give Doctor Wagner for lack of a better word, my business. That was a mistake. As I said Doctor Wagner is a nice man and his secretary is quite a character but if you want clear consice care and a doctor who will communicate the form of care he is prescribing do not go to Doctor Wagner. Try the other doctor in his office Doctor Lui. Doctor Wagner does not listen, he does not communicate, he wastes time with olé skool methods that don’t amount to much in terms of healing your feet or relieving pain. I never got a diagnosis from him and I saw him 3 times. In ONE visit with Dictor Lui I was diagnosed and prescribed a course of action that is working. If you are in pain and you want solutions… do not see Dr. Wagner. If you want to be confused, frustrated and entertain strange conversations with his secretary while you are in the waiting room, Doctor Wagner and company will provide just that.

I give Dr. Wagner 5 stars to offset the other crazy reviews. 1986!?! Please find better things to do with your time and energy.
Dr. Leonard is indeed grumpy and his bedside manner does leave one in need of a hug… but he knows feet. When I couldn’t walk he knew what to do, what more could I have wanted? My own friends dont want to touch my feet…
Good news also the Dr. is surrounded by a lovely and friendly staff.
So turn off your cell phone, take off your shoes and socks and let the grumpy Dr. work.

Dr Wagner and his staff are all very kind. I am a United Health Care PPO patient and was looking for an in-​network podiatrist to consult with regarding my recent shin splints from running. While, I haven’t found any more answers to my questions regarding how to stop them (other than what I have already tried — rest, ice, compression, elevation, tens machine, ibuprofen, stretching etc.). He did prescribe a pain medication (Norco) which I am not going to fill because I am always weary of Rx meds and I’m in the midst of training for several marathons — I will hold onto it, just in case.
While, my problem isn’t resolved — due to my training and lack of recovery periods I would still recommend giving this office a try and seeing how you feel about them.
They are as helpful as they can be, very sweet and kind and not the sort of office or doctor that lies and/​or misleads you in anyway so that they can make money.
I thought I may need orthodic inserts for my shoes but at my last appointment we did not take that approach, which I guess is a good thing???
They seem a bit old fashion — I know some of their equipment must be WAY older than I am but they certainly seem like a very trust worthy bunch which is what counts to me when my health and body are in question.
All of the patients I have seen there seem satisfied with their service.
Parking is a bit pricey and they usually only validate for 20 minutes which won’t cover your session there. Expect to pay a few bucks for that.

In 1986 I went to Dr. Leonard Wagner, Podiatrist. I had an ingrown toe nail on my left big toe. He said I needed surgery — which I later found out wasn’t necessary. He left the nail totally crooked and when it would grow, it would be painful. I went to several other podiatrists to try to correct the nail — but he ruined the nail bed — so nothing could be done. Now I have a very small nail growing and it gets infected. I’m always in pain. I remember this a – hole for 26 yrs because of what he’s caused me. When you have an in-​grown toe nail — you don’t need surgery. Guess he needed to make money — he cares nothing about the patient. I WARNED YOU — stay away from this Big, Fat, Ugly Creep. I can’t believe he’s still in business. I was hoping that something bad happened to him.

My worst experience with a doctor in my entire life was with Dr. Wagner. His bedside manner was at best was rude. I had an ingrown toenail and needed it to be surgically removed last week. While I’ll admit I’m not the most calm patient, when I asked him to explain what he was going to do, he was curt and told me I didn’t need to know and to just lay back. I repeated myself again, he became more irritated and told me to just let him to his job.
At this point, I’m freaking out because I’ve never had surgery on my foot while awake and am not thrilled about him. He gave me two shots in my toe, but I could still feel it. When I told him I needed another, his angry response was, «Stop being so stressed out-it’s your fault you need another shot. You’re metabolizing them too fast.»
Now I’m near tears and want to swear at him, but I figure, he does have a scalpel and that won’t help me get this done any faster. Afterwards, he gave me minimal post-​care information, just saying to stay off it and take pain meds, but upon further research on
, there was a lot more to know.
Anyhow, he knows what he’s doing, but he’s a crotchety, angry doctor, and very difficult to deal with.
