Horrible service
The machine to repair/​fit my new lenses into my few frames breaks down and they refuse to allow me to take my new lenses to another lenscrafters The EXPENSIVE progressive lenses were defective to begin with which is why I had to have new lenses ordered. They never calledl me. I have to call them. This is taking way too long to fix. Not a quality service. Go elsewhere!

I would give them no star if I could. I took my mom in here to get her glasses adjusted the lady helping us took my moms glass to the adjuster in the back room, less than 30 seconds later she came back with broken glasses. She gave us a sad excuse for an apology and asked if we wanted to buy new glasses. My mom can’t see without her glasses, I was understandably upset. I asked her to fix them and she said they can’t. I feel that they purposely broke then to try and take advantage of us. Which is despicable. We had to take her glasses to a jeweler to get fixed. :(

I am going to start this review by saying I take impeccable care of my glasses. I always put them in the case, and clean them the correct way that I’ve been taught all my life and have never had any problems with any pair of glasses that I’ve had from LensCrafters or any place. I came in yesterday to bring in a pair of glasses for the second time that were ruined because of a film or coating that left them spotted. Jamie the manager was so dismissive and rude to me after knowing that I’ve been a customer for many, many years. She told me she could give me 20% off of lenses that were almost $ 500. In my opinion that was not good enough after being such a good customer and I was mad– I’m still mad. This is a multimillion dollar company and a pair of cheap lenses that have been redone already once before is not going to make or break them.
The sad thing about this situation is that I own my own business and I treat my clients like gold. if they’re not happy about something, I will do everything in my power to make it right — even if that means giving them their money back if they’re not happy. I would rather make someone happy and see me as a fair business person, which will always reflect as an amazing review on Unilocal
Jamie you need to take classes on how to treat people. Maybe if you explained this to me in a way that was sweet and not condescending, I might’ve said OK– I understand but you were rude, dismissive and basically a word that I cannot use here on Unilocal

I came in a year ago to get a prescription and frames a few months later. The girl who originally helped me was really sweet. After all of the testing and choosing a frame, the glasses did not feel comfortable and I never wear them. I did not go back because my prescription is so small and I usually don’t even wear glasses. I decided to go in and just talk to someone about my issue. I was not expecting anything for free, I just wanted to know how something like this would be handled. I spent $ 600+ and I thought maybe they would tell me I could get the lenses replaced or something and give me the amount. Instead I was being spoken down to by the rudest retail manager I have ever met! This guy’s name is Tim. He was beyond rude. He said, I’m sorry there is nothing we can do at this point. I told him that I was not looking for handout just a solution. He spoke over me a few times and told me again that there was nothing he could do. At the end I said I wished he was at least a bit nicer. Of course he smirked and with attitude he said he is sorry. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.

DO NOT COME HERE. The worst customer service I’ve experience in my life. Every employee has an attitude by the time you walk in. I told this lady my glasses were loose and she told me they were fine when clearly they were sliding off my face. Then she didn’t even check to make sure they fit right so now they don’t fit over my ear. Same thing happened at the one in Burbank. I suggest not going to ANY LensCrafters at all.

I went for a eye exam and to get first glasses… Want to thank to the Doctor but everything else was really uncomfortable and on some point really rude by the store manager.
I was pushed to fill up paperwork, then they took all frames from me till I was really trying to pick the right ones…
My point is if you schedule a patient at 10am and if you know you are short on time then say come 10−15min before…
I don’t know… This is my first and last time in that store! They should treat customers differently.

Wonderful customer service. Anita was very helpful and guided us to the best option for me. I got polarized prescription sunglasses. They have me a great price here and were very fast to get the sunglass ready within a few hours! Thank you will definitely be a loyal customer

Had an appointment for 4:40 and arrived 20 mins early, got my paperwork started and got me going ! The sales associate made me feel important and tried his best to find a pair that suited me. I didn’t have eye insurance but he informed me that I could use my AAA card (which saved me more). Overall good experience and picked up my pair in about an hour more or less, just wished they had more deals ! :) $$$

The staff was nice and it was a quick visit. They only let you order contacts by 6mo and 1 yr supply now.

I recently moved to the area, and called this store to see if I could pick up extra contact lenses for an upcoming trip. I didn’t realize I had run short, and since I’m leaving tomorrow, I didn’t have time to do much except pick up lenses. Apparently, my prescription expired one week ago. Despite the fact that my eyes haven’t changed, I’m in a pinch to get needed contact lenses, and that if I had gone a week ago it would have been no problem, they made no exception. Basically, they want the money to give you an unnecessary eye exam just so you can pick up your lenses there. If it were 6 months beyond the expiration, I understand, but a week? Excellent customer service would have definitely worked with me in that regard. Never going here, ever.
Oh, and by the way, called a different Lens Crafters and they were extremely helpful, were completely understanding and I was able to get what I needed.

Don’t ever go here if you value your time. My wife ‘s exam took over 2 hours with most of that time spent waiting because they don’t honor appointment times. Upon returning for the unnecessary contact lens fitting, we had to wait another 45 minutes beyond the appointment time.
Also with all the options to buy glasses online now, you would be a fool to buy glasses from them, but hey, its your money.

Definitely the worst customer service I have received from a medical professional location.
I stopped by on a Sunday morning to see if I ca get an emergency replacement on my boyfriend’s contact lenses, but their rudeness just turned me away.
When I walked in their store, I saw no one was available to help me. So I walked up to the counter to said my greetings to the first available employee, her reply «what did you say?»
I honestly felt like my greeting triggered some anger in her, as if I had offended her.
She was of no help, rude, and quite a brute.
I will never return.

Short version: Avoid this place. They don’t honor appointment times and the female doctor Janet Roth is unprofessional and rude beyond belief.
The full story: my husband had an appointment for 6pm so we came in at 10 to 6 to check in and fill out any necessary paperwork. We weren’t given paperwork until after 6:20 and he didn’t go in for his exam for another 30 minutes all to wait in the room even more… why have appointments if you’re not going to be seen for at least an hour?
Once inside Janet Roth told him he was, «gross and disgusting» for not taking out his contacts! WTF! What doctor, or professional of any kind uses that type of language?! Imagine if a pediatrician reacted that way to a child’s ear infection, or an OBGYN to a yeast infection? Her words were degrading, disrespectful, and rude. How a company like lens crafters has someone of this grade representing them is beyond me.

Good customer service! The associate that was helping us was very accommodating and friendly. She looked up all of our information and printed out our insurance benefits, highlighted all the important details, and made a same-​day appointment for my younger son that unfortunately broken his glasses.

During a day of shopping at the mall I waited for my mom to make a purchase at a nearby store and I went in to Lens Crafters just to see what they had, — my son had broken his glasses and was in need of a new pair but I had no intention of buying glasses since my son wasn’t even with me.
As soon I walked in I was immediately greeted, they were super friendly and helpful. They got my son an appointment to see the doctor that same day and told me how much it would all be even before the appointment.
at the time of the appointment the Doctor was great really sweet and great with children. We picked the glasses we wanted and then they started making them then and there. Yes I had my glasses in about two hours no going home and coming back a few days or weeks later to get them 2 HOURS is all it took! and on top of that I got a great deal and great service! Super Happy! 5 stars plus!!!

When I originally went there for my visit the doctor and the staff were all very nice and helpful. I was very happy that the entire process was rapid and walked out with my new glasses one hour after I ordered them… Now, fast forward 3 weeks.
After a late night, I’m driving home when I realize that I can’t see with my glasses on. At first, I’m very confused as I’m not understanding why I can’t see. As I pull over on the side of the road, I realize that the lenses from my brand new pair of glasses are gone. At that point, I look everywhere trying to understand how and where they could’ve fallen. Unfortunately for me, I was unable to find them. The next morning, I called Lens Crafters and they were not helpful at all. They basically said it was my fault that the lenses popped out!!! I’ve been wearing glasses for 15 years and this has NEVER happened! The glasses are not broken, they don’t even have a scratch on them. My guess is the installation was rushed and the lenses were not installed properly. They’ve offered me a 20% discount but out of $ 290, it would still cost me $ 230 to get new lenses. Needless to say that I will repair my glasses at another store. LensCrafters will never a penny from me again.

I’m writing this review for 2 reasons: 1) Customer service & 2) Wait time.
My mom and I have been going to Lenscrafters for years. We were strolling through the mall and saw a sign regarding complimentary services to fix/​repair glasses. I purchased by anti-​glare, anti-​reflective polarized sunglasses and after a while the screw connecting the earpiece with the frame came loose and I lost it. Now I purchased my sunglasses from them and when I asked to get it serviced, they turned me away and said, «They didn’t carry the screw that fit my frame,» and told me to go to the watch repair shop near the food court! Unbelievable! Is this how you treat your loyal customers?
Secondly, my mom was having issues with her vision and was seeing «flashes of lights» and needed to update her prescription. After taking numerous retinal photos, getting her eyes dilated, getting puffs of air blown into her eyes and getting beams of light shone into her eyes, the optometrist did not find anything wrong! The optometrist said, «Her brain will retrain her eyes to see,» what is that supposed to mean?
Finally, the optometrist suggested that she gets progressives. Her appointment was in the late afternoon and Lenscrafters is known for their «one hour service» to custom make glasses. My mom and I decided to catch a movie in the meantime and when we returned a couple hours later, her glasses still weren’t ready. We ended up staying until the mall was closing until her glasses were finally done and my mom couldn’t really see. She was forced to wear her prescription sunglasses in the meantime. It took us more than 5 HOURS! The service, etiquette, professionalism and the way this ordeal was handled was absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn’t expect this type of treatment from this type of establishment. The staff had complete disregard for our time and our plans for the rest of the day were ruined.

My first time at this location. I have been using LensCrafters for 10 years! The staff was really nice and helpful. I love my new Rx sunglasses. The stores always offers discounts which is nice especially when you don’t have insurance. I did not get an eye exam today. Already had a Rx. Didn’t have an appointment and still got my glasses In less than 3 hours. The service was slow at times but they were very thorough. I read alot of reviews and a lot of it is complaining of customer service! First of all most places don’t have the best customer service because they’re always busy. Not exactly because they are shortstaffed. I still feel even though they’re busy they always make sure you’re taking care of and a check up on you. For going 10 years about 2 to 3 times a year I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience! And I’ve been to at least five different locations. Lastly I called several times to get a lot of prices and information and they were nothing but nice and patient. Thanks guys!

My first rule and pet peeve for a business is DO NOT WASTE MY TIME! Its valuable, I’m old, so I don’t have that much of it left. This is the reason why after 20 years as a customer than I am forever saying goodbye to Lenscrafters.
This is the third time in a row that I’ve come in on time for a scheduled appointment and had to wait at least thirty minutes for the exam to begin. Told blonde haired middle eastern manager of my complaint, to which she explained that some people come late, blah blah blah blah blah… Why the hell do I care? If people are late, tell them to come back! Spread out the appointments… whatever it takes to ensure you don’t waste my time! Manage your business or you won’t have one. This place is terribly managed, forgetting to call me when my contacts came in and when I went in, they were not there! Going to complain to district manager and let him know they’ve lost a twenty year customer.

My email notification tells me to arrive 10 minutes early for paperwork. My appointment is at 10 AM. I try to open the door at 9:45 AM. A girl sitting at a front desk no more than 10 feet away from me tells me to come back at 10?
Extremely unprofessional and I haven’t even began my eye exam.
