Legacy One Hour Cleaners

I hate to be «that» person, but I don’t understand how the reviews of this place are so high. Maybe everyone else wasn’t bringing their suits/​slacks/​dress shirts in, and instead are having duvets and Hawaiian shirts cleaned.
Everything went fine for the first few times I brought my dress clothes here. The shirts were properly cleaned and the price was unbeatable in the area. I was really happy to find a well-​priced, around-​the-​block from me dry cleaners/​laundry that did a good job.
Anyways, on about the 5^th time I took my clothes in, they didn’t have them ready for 2 days past when they said they would. I thought it was strange but didn’t worry about it. When they finally had my clothes «ready» (about a week later), TWO of my expensive dress shirts were ripped in the same area in the back (not along the seems, mind you). The Owners response was «must have been an old shirt» with no apology. Basically telling me I’m SOL. I asked if they were going to do anything about it and was told the shirt probably came in that way and it’s my responsibily to check the items. The shirts were not old, definitely not ripped when they came in, and they cost me $ 300/​each.
Needless to say, STAY AWAY if you have any nice clothes. This happened about 18 months ago and I’m happy I now have a review.

Simply the best dry cleaners I have ever encountered.

What a pleasant experience. My shirts were done faster than I required, and the price was less than half what I paid at the last dry cleaner I went to. The gentleman there was genuine, friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for a better service, and will be back next time.

Honestly there really isn’t a reason to go anywhere else! Eddie and the rest of the people working there are warm, honest and lots of fun. There prices are more than fair. They also have someone that does alterations and do it well. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Parking can be a challenge, if you can try not to go between 12N-​2PM. I recently started to my clothing to this cleaners and I’m glad I did. The employees are as among and so welcoming. They do a great job cleansing your clothing. The price of this cleaners is unbelievable. Very reasonable!!! I recommend this cleaners to everyone living in or around Sherman Oaks.

Used to go to the dry cleaners up the street for the convenience factor. But more than once that place botched the pick up time on time sensitive items and ruined several garments — among them, coated Paige jeans that are no longer available, Theory suits items and even ripped a Tularosa dress without fixing it or telling me about the damage they’d done upon pick up. I figured, it was time to put quality over convenience. Found Legacy through Unilocal and have never looked back. I’ve done same day pick up from here a few times without a hitch and I’ve never had items come back in the same poor state as my former cleaners. And, Legacy’s prices are competitive.

Eddie, the owner not only remember my name but greeted me with a smile! I’ll admit I don’t go to the cleaners often because of price and environmental nastiness of it all, but these guys are well priced for dry cleaning, and even better for the straight up laundering of dress shirts. Also I was told they have made upgrades to become more environmentally friendly and they will omit the plastic wrap if you ask. I’ll be coming back!

The best dry cleaning and alteration in the town! They are the only one who can trust. Mr. Ed is a friendly and responsible person. He is very honest and has a very polite and expert staff. They know exactly how to do their job. I highly recommend them to anyone in this area!

I used to drive from Sherman Oaks to Glendale to have my dry cleaning done till I found this place. Eddie is the nicest guy! Service here is second to none. You walk in and the way you’re greeted makes you feel like you’re family.

By far the best cleaners in the whole entire San Fernando Valley. Consistent and perfection. Eddie the owner is well coming, and then employees are always very nice. I don’t trust anyone else with my clothes but them. Thank you for always doing an amazing job.

I’ve been going to Legacy One Hour Cleaners for a little bit more than a year now. I moved to Encino a few months back and still go to Legacy for all my dry cleaning because I trust them with my clothes. They always deliver on time as promised and have even stayed past closing time when I have called ahead.
Eddie, the owner of Legacy, is not your average business owner. He gets to know his customers on a personal level and he always has a smile on his face. I recently hit a rough patch and lost my job back in early November. It had been nearly 3 weeks since I dropped off my clothes last for dry cleaning and when I went in today to pick up my sweater, Eddie remembered me telling him that I had lost my job and he told me that the cleaning was on the house this go around. As it is, they have the best prices all around town. Sometimes I wonder how he stays in business with such low pricing.
I highly recommend Legacy not just because of the service and prices, but also because they still have that human touch you don’t find most places nowadays.

Eddie is a great guy. Not too many people will wait for you (after closing time) just to make sure you get your clothes on time for the occasion.

Legacy has speedy/​top notch service!
Sonya is the sweetest and will help you with your every need. I use Legacy to wash my fiancé’s chef coats, dry clean our nicer items and am constantly getting pants hemmed because I’m so short!
Their prices can’t be beat, and although parking can be somewhat of a pain, I appreciate that they open as early at 7:00am. I will continue to come back to Legacy, and am so happy I finally found MY go-​to dry cleaner! (Also, they do wash large comforters & blankets for about $ 30 – 35)

Absolutely adore this place. The owner is a gem. Moved to the valley and needed a new Dry Cleaner and I couldn’t have picked a better guy. It’s very inexpensive for the quality of his work. I can’t recommend him enough.

FIVE STARS. That’s right. They’re friendly and the service is great. I brought in a number of dresses a Vince sweater and my favorite Jay Godfrey dress that someone spilled red wine on sadly. They removed the stain and all of my dresses looked great and they don’t smell of bad dry cleaning chemicals. I can tell they use quality products and they are courteous and nice there! This place is amazing. Love when any customer is not just money flow but a friend. I used their service twice already and honestly they keep surprising me every single time. The prices are great and very low, however great quality is provided. Great job there guys.
