J.R.‘S Diamonds & Jewelry was created with the intention of filling a void in the jewelry industry. Our aim was to create an exciting business unparalleled in service and pricing. We utilize the latest technology in unison with old world craftsmanship and expertise.

The ownership of J.R.‘S dates back to the diamond mines of South Africa enabling us to provide a vast selection of diamonds in all shapes, sizes and qualities at the most competitive prices available.

I’ve driven by this store numerous times without actually seeing it. It’s my go to jewelry store from now on! Friendly and knowledgable owner and staff. They resized a ring and cleaned another quickly and expertly. Their selection of jewelry is fantastic and they have a range of prices so I really felt at ease. Don’t miss out on this gem! (sorry)

I have a Bedat watch that my husband bought for me over 10 years ago at Dejaun’s store. I love the watch but it has had numerous trips for repair, losing time, stopping altogether. Each repair has taken several months and been very expensive. The last issue was the winding stem fell off so took it back again to the store, the Dejuan’s quote was $ 1500.
I decided that I was only going to wear it as a piece of jewelry and forget repairing it again! We walked by JRs which has been in Sherman Oaks longer than me (which is over 33 years)! I showed the watch to Steven Gliksman who asked me to bring in the stem. The cost was $ 70 and it took only 2 – 3 weeks (he had to wait for a part) and it has worked non-​stop keeping perfect time for the past six months!
They are honest, trustworthy and AWESOME in my book! I highly recommend going to JRs for any type of service. Lovely knowledgable people

My (now) fiancé and I went ring shopping at the bigger stores — Tiffany’s, Robbins Brothers, Brilliant Earth, etc. Wasn’t impressed until I walked into JR’s store where I found «my ring» in less than 5 minutes. They welcome you like family. They have great taste. They have both excellent prices and quality diamonds. They truly care about you. I’m so freakin’ in love with my ring. And, my fiancé was thrilled with the process from his POV, too. I get so many compliments on my ring and I tell everyone to go to JR’s. Thanks a mill!

I brought my diamond necklace into this establishment and wanted to have the diamonds removed and put into a new necklace setting. I worked with Hila and Jeff. Hila was more than patient with my indecisiveness and was very accommodating in trying to find something that I would end up loving. Jeff and Hila created a necklace for me that I absolutely love and exactly what I had hoped for. They are trustworthy and go the extra mile. When I mentioned that my meter was running out on the street, they had the security guard put in extra money (the shop paid for it) which was very thoughtful. They provided my dog doggie treats and a complimentary jewelry cleaning product. I felt that they were very fair in the price and really enjoyed supporting the local ‘ma and pop’ businesses on the Boulevard. …I would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend this store to others.

I recently took in about 20 items of old family jewellery to find out which if any were worthy of formal appraisal for insurance purposes. Jeff patiently went through each one and was able to advise me there and then in a very knowledgeable and professional manner. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and I will definitely be back.

So I originally went to Jr’s to have my watch battery changed. They were speedy and nice. I went back today because that same watch needed the band fixed because it broke off through horseplay with some friends. They initially told me their regular guy wouldn’t be there till later and referred me down the street. Respecting their business, I said I’d rather have them do it, so they told me to come in anyways. After a few minutes and a chat with the cute girls working there, they came back with my fixed watch, and they didn’t even charge me! Wow. Great service people. Do yourself a favor and check them out

I went to JR’S in search of the perfect engagement ring. That is exactly what I found. Not only that, I met some of the nicest most knowledgeable people I have ever met. The staff took such great care of me. They helped me choose the perfect diamond and setting. At no time did I feel like they were trying to squeeze as much money as they can out of me. For our special occasions I want to give my wife, the love of my life, something that she’ll love.
Our anniversary is coming up next month. As usual, I went to JR’S.
They put together a thing they call «the wish list» and it does me good every time.
Julie goes in periodically and tells Jeff or Sandy what she loves. The result is the wish list, full of items at all budget levels. I go in and shop from that list. There’s still the element of surprise, because she doesn’t know exactly what she’s getting, and I can rest assured it will always be something that’ll make her happy.

I can’t say enough positive things about JR’s the staff is friendly the cases are clean and well laid out. I went into look at some Art Deco/​Edwardian pieces he was kind enough to not only show me the pieces that were fished but also settings that he had not yet been refurbished.
JR understood my vision for what I want as an engagement ring and was more than willing to work with me should I find a setting I loved.
He was even kind enough to let me try on rings that were far out of my budget without making me feel the pressure to buy or be more than what I am.
I will defiantly be coming back here if not to purchase than definitely for my antique jewelry repair.

My fiancé and I specifically went to Jr’s because of their impeccable reputation! I was very specific on the type of ring I wanted. I knew I didn’t want a typical diamond and was dead set on a beautiful champagne sapphire! After weeks of searching, Jeff called us and let us know he had found the perfect stone! We drove up from San Diego that week to look at it. The color was perfect and we decided it was «the one». Everyone at the shop helped me pick out a setting. It was like shopping with friends:) We left there that day, leaving the rest in their hands. The finished product is stunning! I’ve received soooo many compliments on my ring and how unique it is! I haven’t bought anything at JR’s Jewelry, but wanted to share my positive experience. I’m at an early stage of learning about and researching diamonds for an engagement ring down the road. Even though I told the staff, including Jeff (I assume he’s the «J» in JR), that I was probably pretty far from actually buying a ring, they were patient and courteous in showing me diamonds (in settings and loose) so that I can see what difference in carat weights and color grades look like in real life.
Since my limited knowledge so far has been learned from the Internet, it was very helpful to see these in person. Jeff also told me, and showed, his store’s in-​house inventory of loose diamonds, which is apparently alot bigger than other brick and mortar stores’ inventories. Overall, it was a good experience, and I appreciate the time they spent with me.

WHEN IT’S MOM’S FIRST MOTHER’S DAY, YOU BETTER GET IT RIGHT!
JR’s Diamonds & Jewelry took care of me. Yes, I am a repeat customer. I have been a loyal customer to JR’s, because Jeff Rosen (aka JR), Cheryl and Steven are not only wonderful to deal with, but they keep it simple.
I pretty much always deal with Steven when looking at their impressive collection of jewelry. Conversely, should you want something custom made they get it done. Steven has been at the store as long as I can remember and has always delivered for me. For mom’s first Mother’s Day; I bought a beautiful white gold pendant encrusted with diamonds with our son’s birth stone in the center, and mom loved it. So did the entire family. Steven carefully helped me pick something out after showing me a few pieces of jewelry. They have a tasteful jewelry collection and they catered to my needs with the attention I was looking for. This is why I come back when it’s time to make her happy.
As a native Angeleno, I like to think I am a credible source of information and furthermore, I will take the time to write a good review to inform discriminating buyers where I know they should go. You will be happy. Good luck.

Jeff and his team are the trustworthy, helpful jewelers and they work hard to get me great prices. I came to JR’s to get two engagement rings — one for my fiancé and one for her 8 year old daughter. They advised me on the different aspects of stone choice so I’d get the most value and make my fiancé happiest, and we’re super helpful in helping me decide what was appropriate for her daughter. I’ve spoken to several other couples who’ve puchased from JR as well and all say the same. Since the engagement ring, my parents have shopped there as well with great satisfaction. There’s a lot of apprehension in buying big ticket items, so let me save you the trouble and uncertainty… go to JRs. Oh, almost forgot to mention — they’ve repaired watches for me twice as well. Quick and fairly priced.

I brought in a loose diamond that I wanted some specs for. The owner was more than obliged to help, and didn’t charge me which I thought was incredibly gracious. He even taught me a few things about loose diamonds.
I was very impressed, and would certainly go back to have custom work done, or choose from their offerings.
