I bought a dress and it didn’t fit my daughter. It took my a while to get around to returning it so it was hanging in my room and accumulated a little dust. It still had tags fully on. I had original receipt. Box and everything. She would not accept the return because of some dust. And microscopically analyzed it and found a PEN point sized mark. I mean no exaggeration pen point sized mark that was likely there when I bought the dress. I even offered store credit. Nope. I’ve never ever seen such a stringent return policy. I went to another store and they had No problem giving me star credit at all! And I ended up spending above and beyond the value of the original dress. Totally not worth the horrible customer service I received at this location.

Literally the dumbest«policy» ever. I called ahead to make sure they had the 2 special occasion dresses I needed. Girl on phone says computer shows that they are supposed to have them, but she is only one working so she can’t go to the back to confirm. So, I go to the store during my lunch break & the girl then says«I cannot go to the back to get the dresses because I am alone so I cannot sell you the dresses at this time». Luckily she says her co-worker arrives in 30 min. If I had come at 10am, I would be waiting 3 hours! I am a working mother of 2 kids & I simply have no time for inefficient store policies. Keep in mind that each dress was $ 189. I am trying to give your company $ 400+ & you cannot go to the back to get the dresses for me??? Who comes up with this? Does Janie & Jack not want my money???

So so disappointed with the quality of employees at this store. I came in to return an online purchase and Melanie did the return, but it was for less than the purchase price(for example: item was $ 32.99,she gave me back $ 28.99 … But this happened with 12 items). The manager then came in and said well it’s only a couple of dollars. A couple of dollars times 12!!! Glad these employees get paid so well that a couple of dollars doesn’t matter to them! It’s actually been 8 weeks and I’m still waiting for headquarters/corporate to refund the rest.(yes, I have had several lengthy conversations with them. Maybe you expect such service from the surrounding stores there, but an utter disappointment from this company. Even sadder is that I’m likely to never shop J&J again because of this.

Love shopping at this store! Went here twice this week and Kimberly was awesome! She helped me select multiple items. She also took her time to package each item exactly the way I want it and I am a perfectionist so I get upset when people do a sloppy job… The quality of clothes are topnotch and love all their designs. Great place to shop for little girls and boys! Makes me want to be baby again so I can wear their clothes! :D

Until my daughter learns to hate me and pick out clothes for herself, she will be donning Janie & Jack. I just love this store. I love their classic colors. I love their simplistic styles. I love their friendly and helpful sales reps. And, best of all, I love how there’s always seems to be a sale in my daughter’s size. I was first introduced to them by my girlfriends that gave me the cutest newborn outfits at my baby shower. And, I’ve been a fan since. I think I’m in here every other week.

I love this store! Well, I actually love all Janie & Jack stores. I love the styles and the quality of the clothes. I wish they were a bit less pricey but they frequently have sales so that’s not too much of a problem. I’ve never walked in in this particular store and NOT been helped. All their workers are friendly and non-hovering. Bought three different outfits and the worker told me when some of the collections are going to be removed from the shelves permanently and when new ones are going to be on sale. She is sooooo helpful!

Don’t get me wrong, this location still has the high-quality children’s clothing you can expect from Janie and Jack; however, some aspects of customer service here leave something to be desired. For example, I’ve been here on quite a few different occasions and I think I’ve only been greeted by the employee(s) one time. The Topanga location employees, by comparison, seem to always greet you when you walk in(within a minute or so, anyway) and offer to help. That said(if there were half stars on Unilocal), I would give this location a full star rating lower than the Topanga location: 3.5 shakas. C’mon Fashion Square, you gotta step up your game!
