Gia is the absolute best! I drive from Lancaster to see her, that’s how good she is !!! After I moved far away I tried to go somewhere else but they messed me up! never again ! Not only is she the best at what she does she is the sweetest most genuine person. Highly recommend her, you will get hooked !

Gia is my go to and the only one I trust with my eyebrows. I went to someone else to do my eyebrows because I couldn’t find her new address and they completely ruined them. Gia has been bringing them back to life and they are already growing back evenly after 2 threadings with her. She is an artist at what she does and a genuine and caring person. I am happy that I have her to maintain my bushy eyebrows, and now I have a hair place to go to as well! I haven’t gotten my hair done yet but Ernesto seems great so I’ll have to give him a try.

i was looking for a local spot that provided henna service, my cousin turned me on to her «eyebrow girl», Gia, who also does henna. sent Gia a text and she responded promptly and booked an appointment for two days later. right from the moment i walked in, i was greeted with a warm smile. Gia’s henna work is superb! she listened to exactly what i wanted while adding her own finesse. the ink she uses lasts long! it was still visible a week later opposed to the other places i’ve been to where it started to fade two days after application. i definitely recommend anyone looking to have this service done to see Gia. i will also be visiting her soon so she can give my eyebrows some tlc. she’s been doing eyebrow threading for years and my cousin’s eyebrows always look great. she says no one touches her eyebrows but Gia!
Ernesto who is also another stylist was giving a client a Brazilian blowout and cut. the young girl’s hair was gorgeous. i’m so tempted to cheat on my current hairstylist. he was so sweet and had me laughing out loud :)

Gia has been doing my brows for years. She’s efficient, friendly, professional and most importantly, she gives me the exact brow shape and thickness I want every time, without fail. I’ve tried other threaders in the past and the tendency’s always been to make my brows thinner… the exact opposite of what I want. Gia, on the other hand, delivers exactly what you ask for!

Best threading in town! Been going to Gia for years and not only is she great at what she does but she’s the sweetest. Salon is super cute and clean. Plenty of parking available in the back and some metered parking on the street too.

I was walking by the salon last week and when I looked inside, I saw 3 drop dead gorgeous men at work! I wasn’t sure if they would take a walk in but they took me right away and before I knew it, I was getting the most relaxing shampoo of my life! They really care about you here and they listen very carefully. Also, having all that eye candy running around is a plus! Best haircut experience of my life! I will definitely be back!

I’ve been seeing Mark since I moved to LA a year and a half ago. My hair is healthier now than its been in a long time. He’s reintroduced me to highlights (which I was scared of because o felt it was killing my hair). My cuts are great and my hair just loves him! He’s also getting me to love my curls (which I’ve blown out for years).
Mark is such a sweetheart and I really enjoy his art!

Hands down the best color I’ve ever had! Mark the owner did my highlights, and then he applied a gloss which I’d never had before. My color has never looked so good, and the gloss made my hair look and feel like silk. I’ve had two total strangers stop me in the streets since, asking who does my hair! Excited to find this place, and I’m now a loyal fan.

I just got home from getting a blowout. My appointment was for 2pm, and Mark, the owner, called me to confirm it and ask if I could come early, because Ernesto had a busy day. I arrived at 1:40pm, and Ernesto was still working on a client. He asked me to sit down. The client mentioned she wasn’t totally happy with the color, but it was OK since he obviously had a client waiting. He says, «It’s OK» and proceeds to start putting foils in her hair. It’s 10 minutes until my appt. and there’s no way he can highlight her hair in 10 minutes. I’m sitting patiently when another stylist walks up and says that Ernesto won’t have time to blowout my hair, but she’ll take over. She then tells me she has a client coming in 10 minutes. I feel like I’m inconveniencing THEM with my business! She washes my hair hurriedly and roughly and while she’s sweet, it’s obvious she’s in a hurry and that they’ve overbooked themselves. She starts blowdrying my hair, and her blowdryer is so hot that I ask her twice to turn down the heat. My scalp is on fire! Then her client comes in and she hands me off to another girl, Tracy, who she asks right in front of me, «Do you know how to blow-​dry?» WTF?!
Fortunately, Tracy was the saving grace. Not only was her hair dryer a normal heat, but she is kind and does a good job. Ernesto is still working on the client he had a half hour ago, and I do wonder what he would have done if nobody had taken over for him? Just left me sitting there for 30 minutes? I have my toddler daughter with me and she was ready to go, so I happily bolted. Ernesto hands me Tracy’s card on the way out, but never acknowledges, let alone apologizes, for being unavailable for my appointment.
This place is local and I really wanted it to work out. I usually go to Dry Bar, but thought I’d give it a shot. It’s $ 30/​blowout, so it’s discounted, but you know what they say… you get what you pay for…

Great place! I have been going to Zaida for a while now and she is AWESOME!!! I had her do layers and color (w/​highlights) on my hair! It is PERFECT! Mark the owner and other stylists there are very friendly! A great place to call home when you come in for your hair. They greet you and make you feel welcome!

My hair cut is horrible and three inches shorter than I asked for.
Mark, the owner cut my hair and I have never had a worse cut. Before washing my hair I specifically said TWO times that I only wanted a trim of a ¼ inch. He said we should do ½ and I told him that would be fine but absolutely no more. I also said I did not want layers all over my head, only in front around the face. While cutting my hair I told him TWICE it was looking very short. He was trying to convince me he was barely taking anything off. Then he started blow drying my hair and I again said TWICE that is was too short. He had also layered it all over rather than just around my face. After all of this he still charged me and he charged me MORE than the rate I was quoted on the phone when I booked the appointment.
My hair is curly and BEFORE the cut it was two inches past my bra strap while curly. My hair is blown out straight right now and AFTER the cut it is at least one inch above my bra strap. If you have curly hair you know exactly how extreme this is.
The only reason I wanted to try someone new is because the woman who has been cutting my hair has moved salons and is much farther away.
I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at this salon. I would NEVER go back and would not recommend Mark or the salon to anyone who doesn’t want their hair cut at least three inches shorter than you’ve asked for.

Love Ernesto and the relaxed atmosphere at Cut. Parking is a little difficult, but worth the aggravation of finding a vacant meter in Sherman Oaks. Would give it 5* but for that.

It was a recommendation of my friend, who had an occasional, but amazing color change here. She was so happy with the result that I also decided to try them with my punky short asymetric hair. And you know, it was one of the best haircuts ever in my life! Ernesto, a very professional sylist and extremely pleasant guy did everything just the way I wanted and imagined! The atmosphere in the salon is very nice, relaxing and friendly, the prices are moderate. I am very happy I found them just 3 blocks from my apt)

My favorite place to get my hair done. Mark who is the owner is such a sweetheart and knows his way around any cut and any color. I strongly recommend everyone to check this place out. Very affordable for Sherman Oaks too.
