These guys are getting on my nerves. They bribe real estate agents to recommend them, promising $ 250 dollar rewards. I told them no, but they keep calling to bug me. I have had 5 annoying calls from them, just in the past week. This is not ethical.

Awful customer service once they install and get paid. They promised a $ 100 to my realtor for referring to them, and they haven’t come through. In addition, the installation was horrible, very sloppy, not done professionally. Stay away!

Great come back from this company. After the bad experience that I had with the sensors, I have to say that they did respond to my complaint. They arrived right away with the best attitude. They changed the sensor that broke. All of this at no charge. They explained that the glue that they use is from Honeywell, and this is the same one they been using for years; suddenly this glue seems not to be working as it did before. I guess the important thing of hiring someone to do an installation job is that if it fails in some way, are they there to fix it, or will you not hear from them again. Bluelight systems at the end, was here to help me solve the problem. And I am very happy with that. I will recommend this company.

Working with Robert Kim at Blue Light Security has been a real pleasure. The installation of our ADT system was smooth and quick. When we lost one of our remotes recently, Mr. Kim was quick to come out and reprogram our system, and even provided a replacement remote free of charge. Highly recommended!

Let me begin by saying that I tried to work out my issues with this place long before I decided to write a review. That being said, I am writing this review in the hopes that it will give some people information that is necessary.
About 3 months ago, I had this company install a security system for me. A month later the front door alarm went off even though it was closed and everything was secured. I guess there was something faulty with the door sensor. So, the police came to our house (35 minutes after the alarm had gone off).
Apparently as a result of the incident, the police department became aware that we had an alarm. At which point we were sent a fine for 1. a false alarm and 2. not having a permit for our alarm. Totaling over $ 300.
So, I called blue light security, and was VERY upset because nobody ever told me that we needed an alarm permit. Now, you may all think that this is silly, but I didn’t have any idea that we needed a permit. As the company that installed the alarm you would think that they would tell you and at the very least apologize. Instead, the office manager faxed me the agreement (you know the kind which is like 10 pages long with tiny print) which stated in small tiny letters in one clause that we MAY need an alarm permit. MAY, with no further instructions. She argued with me about the clause probably for ten minutes and refused to help me. In the end I had to figure out on my own how to get a permit and was stuck paying the giant fine.
So, I hope that this helps people realize that you need a permit, so you can avoid fines.

After a lot of research when choosing a security company for our Vacation Home, we are very pleased with the work Blue Light has performed. Installation was fast and incredibly efficient and all of our needs and concerns were taken care of. What surprised us the most was the sales adviser, who was incredibly pleasant to deal with throughout the entire process, instead of trying to up sell us products that we didn’t really need like other providers he patiently took the time to listen to exactly what we needed.

Bret, the sales advisor was truly a gem to work with and designed my systems to fit my needs, and Kris the tech was great as well. They delivered on their promises and gave me a great deal. Having the installation done and getting a system for less than $ 100 was a deal i couldn’t refuse. Other companies would have charged me almost $ 1200 for the same system. I will be recommending them to my friends. I’m very happy with the product and its features and benefits.

We’ve received a postcard through the mail, for a special on an ADT Alarm system. I called the number and the same day they scheduled me a free consultation with Chris. He went thru the whole house with us explaining our needs and the reasons for each of his suggestions, he was very clear using simple language, knowledgeable and super friendly. He was great. It took less than 2 hours to have an installation scheduled for the following day. It gave us peace of mind since we had a few break ins in the neighborhood. Our installer Andrew, was a true professional. The system was installed just like the way it was promised, he gave us a walkthrough on how to use it and plenty of stickers and yard signs.

I am a Property Manager and my clients ask me for referrals. When they need a home security system, I recommend Bluelight Security. The prices are competitive and their service is top-​notch. I usually have my clients speak to Roland. He is patient and answers all their questions.

Blue Light Security was actually a referral by our subcontractors during tenant improvent. We decided to give them a shot.
A cool, down-​to-​earth sales person came by, Jud. He explained everything in very detail, motion detectors, window sensors and all the camera systems we wanted to install. After all, Andrew came by to install everything, he was on-​time like a Swiss Watch. The entire istallation was a few hours, very clean job with excellent workmanship. They left the place nice and neat, no trash behind (that is what usually the case with contractors). After all, we got a step-​by-​step tutorial so we are familiar with all the goodies, iPhone app for the camera system included. :)
Blue Light Security is a rare find in this construction mess, I wish there are more like Andrew and his installation crew out there. Thanks guys for the excellent work!!!

It was hard to rate the stars on this.
After leaving the my first review, Roland Gabor the President, I believe, of Bluelight contacted me with an explanation that the sales person had moved across states and had not been able to return calls. Roland offered to make it right. I was impressed and hopeful.
This was last Friday. He transferred me to some sort of customer service who made an appointment with me for Saturday at 2pm. They called back fairly quickly to inform me that that was not possible. They offered between 4 and 6. I explained that was too late in the day but I could do anything between 2 and 4. We agreed on 3pm.
Saturday came. 3pm, no technician. A little after 4 a technician called and said he was 20 minutes away. I really have not been trying to be difficult so I agreed to still have him out and we hung up agreeing to see each other in 20 minutes. However, at 5:15 I called the technician back and told him to forget it.
Monday morning I left a message for Roland explaining again the issues. ABout an hour later I had a customer service person call to reschedule. I raised my issues to this person but was told that Saturday’s technician had car issues. I get it. I understand issues but I’m confused why at 4:20 he couldn’t call and let me know so that we didn’t spend another hour of our Saturday waiting.
Again, we rescheduled. This time for 9am on Tuesday. Monday night I received a confirmation call with a 8:30 — 9:30 appointment. I was surprised that there was a range but again I’m trying to be reasonable so I went with it.
Once again no show. At 9:30, I called. The customer service person was not able to give me an answer. Promised a phone call back. At 10am a technician called and said he was 8 minutes away.
Here is why I have a hard time giving the stars: This technician did arrive and seemed smart and accommodating. He seems to have solved my issues. If it had not been for him I would be on the phone attempting to figure out what I would have needed to to return the whole system. Still if I had to do it over again the pain to get this point was just simply not worth it.

After a few months in my new home without an alarm system, i’ve decided to go ahead and get an alarm system installed. ADT seemed like a sensible choice due to the brand name and reliability based on my research.
I called Blue Light Security an ADT authorized dealer in my neighborhood. They offered me free consultation to help me with my decision. I was a little skeptical and was assuming that they will come to my home and use sales tactics to pressure me into a buy.
To my surprise it was the exact opposite. Very professional and friendly sales rep by the name of Mike showed up and provided me with a lot of information about security systems and ADT. He left the decision to buy or not buy up to me, which was very strange.
I felt so comfortable that i opted to give Blue Light/​ADT a chance. My installation was scheduled right away for the next day. My installer Andrew (i believe was his name could have been Andreas sorry) was very helpful in explaining how the system was installed, how to use it and how it can save me some headaches. The smoke detector monitoring is something i feel was a great choice and gives me peace of mind. I am very happy that i chose Blue Light Security and ADT to give me protection.
I recommended the to my co-​worker already and i hope she will have the same service and experience i had. Thank You Blue Light!

To be clear, this company is an independent contractor for ADT, and takes no responsibility for problems with the alarm system.
The Blue Light salesman, Robert Kim, did not disclose that he was an independent contractor for ADT, and he made promises that he did not keep. First, during the initial meeting, I made it very clear that I wanted window sensors placed at the bottom of the window frame — which he promsied to do. When the installers put the system in while I was not at home, they placed it at the top (precluding me from placing blinds on the windows). When I complained, he left a message stating that it was my responsibility, not his, to see that the installers did it correctly.
He also stated that the system would not be set off by pets. In fact, I’ve had multiple false alarms — caused by pet movement — that have caused me to incur hundreds in «false alarm» fees from the city of Pasadena. (The horrible service by ADT is another story, and, of course, Blue Light takes no responsibility for it.)
He also roped me into the contract — without adequately disclosing that it was a 2-​year contract. I am going to sue Blue Light for breach of contract and for false representations in small claims court.

We just purchased a new home ad were looking for a security system. My wife and i decided to get ADT. After a lenghty research we noticed that ADT has many authorized dealers to offer their products. It wasnt a easy decision but based on their great offer pricing and free equipment we chose Blue Light Security. We are both glad that we did.
As may other ADT companies, Blue Light offers free consultation.
Scheduling was easy and very fast. Professional representative offered convenient time around our schedule.
The representative by the name of Robert Kim came to our house for a consultation on time as agreed. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgable. He helped us with all of our concerns, pointig out some of the «dangerous» possible entries into our home and offered excellet solutions that we both felt comfortable with.
We decided to go with a little bit higher priced Pulse package so we can control our system from our phones.
I cant say enough good things about this guy. He made us feel extremely comfortable with our decision.
Our istaller also showed up on time and was just as knowledgable and professional.
The istallation went down without a hitch. All equipment we ordered was installed just as explained, brand new and made by honeywell. The american brand was very important to me and my wife. The installer «Kris» spent a lot of time making sure the equipment was functioning and we understood how to use it. After a very friendly user training and acccount set up we were ready to use our brand new ADT Pulse system.
This thing is amazing. We can control our system, arm, disarm from our iphone.
Now we have the security and safety my wife always wanted in our new home.
We are glad that we picked Blue Light out of all of the ADT dealers. Very positive experience from beginning to end. I will most definetaly recommend them to all my friend and family. Thank You guys for everything.

We had a great experience working with Blue Light Security, especially with Rob Kim! They are extremely helpful and competent. Their prices are much more competitive than others, including ADT! I have recommended them to family and friends. They have all had a great experience as well.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was told that window sensors & motion detectors would be included in the install. The company owner and Leslie seem to have selective memories as to which products were promised to me. Needless to say I spent over $ 900, and I have no window sensors. I was also told for an additional fee I could purchase a DVR for continuous recorded monitoring of the security cameras. The installer just informed me that would not work with the system he installed here. I wasn’t informed of many options by the service rep which I subsequently had to locate on the website. I can not stress enough that you should steer clear of dealing with this company.

Positive experience with your sales person Robert Kim. Professional and knowledgable. Prices were better than anywhere els. Best bang for your buck. Installer was professional and did a great job.
