This burger can feed an Army. You get fast service which is great, especially if you’re hungry. I always get the Barney’s cheeseburger and its about $ 10. You get all your toppings on the side so its a build your own in a way. If you’re in the mood for a filling burger, you can’t go wrong here.

The only time I brave the mall is at Christmas time. Barney’s makes the trip survivable. They have fantastic hamburgers. I’m guessing they’re so good because the must use a really good quality of meat, but maybe they have another secret, I don’t really know. I just know I like going here a lot and if they weren’t in a mall I’d go more often.

Located inside the Sherman oaks mall, convenient to grab food to go after shopping, or even having lunch there. Does not even feel like you’re inside a mall. But, the food is amazing! Everything on the menu is so good that it’s hard deciding what to order. You won’t be disappointed. The best burgers and chicken burgers, yummy salads too, and variety is plentiful.

Good burgers good service what else can you ask for… Oh that’s right WINE! They got that too: ] New spot during my lunch breaks. And one last thing… Most amazing bacon I’ve had in a while. It’s got like a hickory smoked flavor to it.

Who would ever think that the best burger in town was from a little shop in the mall? Delicious sweet potato fries, fast service, and nice waitress. I’ll be back again!

What a fantastic hamburger! THEBEST! I don’t eat burgers very often, but 2 days ago I had a craving, and being on jury duty at the Van Nuys courthouse, I chose a place walking distance from there: Outlaws Café. The experience was so bad it left me REALLY craving a good burger! So today I went to Barney’s, where I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed — and I was right. The food was DELICIOUS, and the service, provided by Maria, was friendly and quick. What a contrast, and Barney’s is STILL my favorite hamburger restaurant!

It’s been a long time since we visited this burger restaurant and not sure if it was Barney’s before. We almost went to Phở across the way, but a cheeseburger is always the most promising to having a satisfying meal. We were greeted by the smiley waitress and she took our orders. I had the Western and my friend had a plain burger. Real charbroiled and cooked perfectly… very satisfying! We shared the Truffle Fries which hit the spot too! The truffle wasn’t over powering and the parm was just right. Everything was very yummy down to the Diet Coke(gotta lessen the calories somewhere)! There was a spread of different type of burgers, including building your own. They even have turkey and chicken selections. I prefer the beef! I believe they even have different selection of fries — skinny or steak! I definitely want to try the onion rings next visit. Everything is priced moderately about $ 11.50 for my Western and $ 6.00 Truffle Fries. What ya expect, they serve gourmet burgers. The service was excellent from our waitress(I think it was her first day), although there were other waitresses that kept on asking us if we needed anything. It was a little bit too much, interrupting our convos. I guess I can’t complain since other reviews stated service was bad. I would suggest the waitresses have better communication with each other. Tired of the food court? Definitely fresh food waiting for you after a long day of shopping. P. S. I would have taken pics, but we were so hungry, we scarfed it down before the plates hit the table!

Attentive and prompt service when you want to grab a quick bite at the mall away from the food court. I love the chicken salad as the chicken is always lean and the truffle fries are a great appetizer to start with.

Mediocre burgers. Service was good. Medium to them is seared and very red inside. Overpriced. Go elsewhere even though they have a very large selection from which to choose.

My fav place to go eat at when I’m at the Sherman oaks mall!!! Almost everything on the menu is delicious, I can’t say that anything taste bad. So how this works is that you go in and have a seat any place available and a waiter/waitress will come and help you out. Me and my friend decided to grab fries and a chili hot dog with spicy fries which was very yummy If you’re looking for healthy they do have salad options and veggie burgers so no problem here. Prices are very reasonable for the portion you get, I def could not finish my plate at all!

1 Star because I was hungry and it was edible. Coworker and I went. She ordered fries and i ordered an alpine burger. 10 minutes to approach us. Brought us a filthy water pitcher. When we mentioned it, she literally walked over to the counter, wiped it with a napkin and brought the same dirty pitcher back. 30 minutes to get our food. Her fries: not even halfway full, but 1⁄3 of them were burnt. My sautéed onions were overcooked to the point of being slime. But no worries there was about half of an entire onion-raw-hidden under the slime. 30more minutes for the check. Mentioned the fries.“oh no we put it in a larger basket so we gave you less.” Thats cool, not like my coworker has ordered fries several times before. Oh wait she has. Never again.

Went with the waiters recommendation of the Greek Burger, which came with feta cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, avocado, beef pattie all wrapped into a whole wheat pita bread. The Greek burger was very enjoyable I asked for a side of Chipotle sauce which by the way went PERFECT with the meal. Overall experienced good customer service, food was fresh & great tasting and got to enjoy a walk in the mall.

I was bummed when Rounds Premium Burgers closed down in the Westfield Sherman Oaks Mall, but then I remembered there was another burger joint in the mall. One afternoon my girlfriend and I decided to check out Barney’s Gourment Hamburgers after we were done shopping. The restaurant is located on the ground floor right in front of the main entrance. I cannot remember for the life of me what was there before Barney’s. The eating area was observed clean, modern looking and sharp. The staff was easy going and tended to our needs with minimal problems. We shared a western burger, truffle fries, and onion rings. The western burger was an ample sized burger that was very tasty, especially if you were at the mall for a couple of hours and needed to eat. The burger was VERY generous with the sauteed onions(fortunately I love onions, so it wasn’t an issue). The bacon was crispy, the BBQ sauce was tangy, and the burger patty was cooked to my liking. Overall it was a tasty burger. The onion rings were cooked sort of like tempura style. Once again I love my onions, so they were good except that they could use a little more batter. The truffle fries were crispy and delicious, but I hardly tasted any truffle oil(maybe the parmesan cheese overwhelmed the truffle oil). By the way, I also like my truffle! Barney’s Gourmet Hamburgers is a welcome addition to the Westfield Sherman Oaks Mall. With Rounds Premium Burgers and Carl’s Jr gone from the mall, Barney’s is ready for you shoppers to satisfy your burger craving. For being in a mall, this place is quite impressive. I’d go again for some good eating, but first I gotta stop by Foot Locker for my Air Jordans while my girlfriend shops for panties at Victoria’s Secret…

It’s one of those place that think they’re serving gourmet burgers, but in reality jts like getting a burger from burger king. Dont bother asking for medium rare, medium, medium well here… your burger will surely come out burnt to a crisp lol. I’m starting to think the chef fell asleep while cooking me and my coworkers burgers. The only thing i liked from this place is the pickles… I didnt eat my burger but instead I ate a plate of pickles. We paid, but we were highly contemplating the olé«dine-n-dash», but then we stopped since we both work at the mall lol. After our waitress processed our cards we told her how terrible our burger was and how unsatisfied we were, and she told me «well you should’ve told me before I swiped your cards *eye rolls; walks away*». uhhh…

While shopping in the Westfield Fashion Square, we came up onto Barney’s Gourmet Hamburgers as we rounded the corner to See’s Candies. We had been shopping and roaming this mall for nearly two-hours(that’s a LONG time for me, because I don’t usually roam when shopping) in search for Christmas gifts for my family. I didn’t have to say a word to my husband but he read my facial expression as I longingly gazed at the sign… Barney’s GOURMETHAMBURGERS! Forgive me, but, this clueless Hawaiian had never heard of Barney’s before. I called my brothers-in-law, who were also at the mall, to meet for lunch. As it turns out, they were around the corner so they were able to meet right away. As we were seated, my foodie brother-in-law gave me a quick run-down on this Bay Area based burger joint. It’s not your typical burger joint because it features table-service and quality ingredients. Shortly after being seated, our waitress quickly came to take our beverage order. She was friendly and really made us feel comfortable. When she returned with our beers, she asked if we were familiar with Barney’s. Since it was our first time, she was nice enough to give us some background information and touted their use of quality Niman Ranch beef which they«lovingly» hand pat into their gourmet burgers. By that time, we had made up our minds on our selections. We ordered a full-order basket of crisp, skinny potato French fries. My fast-food eating husband and brothers-in-law dove into these fries just as soon as they were delivered. The fries were golden and crispy on its exterior and light on its inside. These were made from fresh-cut potatoes, nothing frozen, here! I waited before eating more fries because I wanted to pair it with my burger. Uh, I shouldn’t have waited as I saw the basket of fries quickly disappear before my eyes! Okay, so we ordered a second full-basket just before our burgers were delivered. The Burgers: Each cost $ 9.95 and were HUGE! — the north beach burger appealed to my tastes today. It was a behemoth of a burger that was covered with cheddar cheese, sautéed mushrooms and artichoke hearts. When I saw it, I debated how to eat this… shall I be dainty and proper to use my fork and knife or… Ha! Got you, I deferred to my feminine side and used the utensils. — my husband ordered the bacon cheese burger. The burger patty was cooked to medium-rare perfection. There was melting cheddar cheese and a mound of crisp, thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon strips. There really was a mound of bacon but, he pulled off a couple of strips before I could take the photo. — the cheese lover’s burger went to my eldest brother-in-law. This burger was laden with Swiss, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese. There was so much melting and oozing cheese atop this burger that strings of cheese formed with each bite. — my other brother-in-law ordered the california burger. The california burger is an ode to Cali-Mex food. It came with an Ortega fire-roasted green chilie pepper, Monterey Jack cheese, thick slices of bacon, and sour cream. Sort of getting a chili relleno with bacon atop your burger. Adding bacon to anything just makes it BETTER! Each of our burgers were covered with the toppings of our choice and were truly fresh-tasting, juicy and delicious. When you receive your burger, the only question that WON’T pop into your mind is «Where’s the beef?».
