Anthony Segil – State Farm Insurance Agent

I would never have imagined that purchasing insurance would be such a pleasure, but Anthony and Jacqui treated me like royalty when I called them, disgruntled by another State Farm agent who wouldn’t insure my home. They immediately put me at ease and handled everything with the utmost efficiency. I am a loyal State Farm client and now I am a very loyal Anthony Segil State Farm client.

Anthony and I have worked out our differences. Just because he treated me poorly does not mean he is a bad insurance agent.

I don’t usually leave Unilocal reviews for insurance companies, but these guys are so personable and friendly… and human. In an increasingly tech culture, whenever I get human good service, I think that deserves a shout out because it is so rare nowadays. Great job guys.

I’ve known Anthony since we went to high school together, and have been more than happy to have him as my insurance agent for over a decade, for both personal and business purposes. His office has been helpful, proactive, and dealing with them has never been a hassle at all.
Anthony and his staff are available via both phone and email, always respond promptly to my queries, and go out of their way to help resolve issues and get things done RIGHT NOW. Which, as a busy self-​employed IT Services consultant, is something I value highly. I recommend his office, unreservedly, to everyone I know. He and his staff know their products, and never give me a hard sell.
I’m happy to be insured by State Farm for many reasons:
a) the last insurance company I had before SF snuck an exclusion for rental car agreements into my policy that they didn’t tell me about, and it cost me $ 8,000+. I don’t worry about whether or not I’m covered when I step into any vehicle, carrying State Farm
b) they pay in a timely fashion on all claims (and I’ve made a few over the years), big and small
c) their financial structure, as a mutual insurance company, means the institution «is owned by, and run for the benefit of, its members — it has no external shareholders to pay in the form of dividends, and as such does not usually seek to maximize and make large profits or capital gains.» (per Wikipedia) This fits with my values. Once, I even got a check back from the company in the form of a rebate! When was the last time your insurance company decided it had made too much money and needed to send you a check!?! Anthony, as other reviews, is emblematic of this, as he will always tell you when he thinks you need, or don’t need, additional insurance; he’s clearly about long term relationships and quality customer service, over short term profits.

We asked him to get back to us on a simple matter. We waited two weeks. No reply. Then my wife went to see him and he said he would email the information to me. Another week goes by. Nothing. I email, him and he finally tells me what to do, but by then it has cost me two hundred dollars I didn’t need to pay. Thank god this wasn’t a claim as I don’t think Mr. Segil would be up the task.

Anthony and his staff are professional, courteous, responsive, and in general just a pleasure to work with. He’s been our agent for home, life and auto for over ten years now. Anthony works to ensure you get the best rate possible, and the best service possible. Having him as our agent gives us piece of mind.

I’ve always been a State Farm client but can honestly say that Anthony, the owner of this agency, is 2^nd to none! Nobody loves paying for auto insurance but knowing they get the best rates & go the extra mile for their clients is very comforting!

Anthony is there when you need him the most. He services my entire family like his own. His insurance knowledge is impressive and his office staff always helpful.
As part of State Farm he has the resources to help with matters big and small.
Paying a little more to be insured by Anthony at State Farm rather than some small independent agent I have found to be worth it.

We’ve been clients of Anthony for almost 7 or 8 years now. And over the years, our family has grown, cars have been shuffled around, accidents (It was the other driver’s fault, I swear) happened, we bought a house, and insurance needs changed. Anthony has walked us through each process. He has discussed with us when it might not be worth our money to expand a policy – even when it wasn’t in his best interest.
