Hi! My name is Mandy and I want to share my story about how Adopthelp has helped me. I was already going on the 3^rd month of my pregnancy when I found out I was pregnant. I am 33years old and have 3 kids already. Having 3kids is extremely difficult financially, and I didn’t know how I was going to support another child. I thought about ending my pregnancy, but I knew in my heart that was something I could never do nor would I want to do. There were days where I would just sit and cry trying to figure out what to do. I wanted to do what was best for, my baby, my kids, and everyone that would be affeccted by my decision.
After almost 2 months of thinking and crying, I finally chose adoption, but I had no idea where to begin looking. I found Adopthelp while researching about adoption online. I sent an email with my information and 2days later I received a phone call from a sweet and commpasionate woman from Adopthelp. She would later become my caseworker and advocate. She explained to me the entire process and was there for me every step of the way.
I was able to choose a family for my baby, and when I met them I instantly knew they were going to be the perfect parents for her! We kept in touch all the way up until I had my baby girl, and they were even there with me at the hospital during my entire labour. I couldn’t have found a better couple, they are simply amazing and its all thanks to God and Adopthelp!!! We have become great friends and will always be connected.
I can honestly say that this was the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make, but because of Adopthelp and the wonderful couple I found through them, I feel at peace. I know they will give her the life I couldn’t and for that I am forever grateful!!!

My wife and I matched with the most wonderful birth parents we could have imagined around Sept of 2015. We are now parents raising a beautiful baby boy. I think it took 1 year 8 months to match — about what they estimate (1 ½ years) given our filters. The hardest thing is to wait. You get updates about how many birth mothers you are presented to, and if you were second choice with any. I really don’t mind the low contact during this phase, AdoptHelp’s most important job is to connect with birthmothers, but like I said, it is hard to wait. About 1 year 3 months in, we tried to widen our outreach by working with a local adoption facilitator. This did not work out. The facilitator has made many fine matches, and we talked with people who had had success with them, but overall I got the sense that the adoptions were more expensive and there were more failures. We matched with someone right away with the facilitator but the match fell through — it was emotionally hard and cost 10k (given how far it progressed). When we did match through AdoptHelp, I was amazed at how good a match it was. While waiting, I got more concerned about our profile, was it too honest, too specific? Should we have tried to figure out what the typical birth mother wants to hear? When we finally matched though, I was amazed at how much we had in common with the birth parents, and how fun those quirky specific things were and how they helped the match. We feel very lucky and blessed.

My husband and I signed on with AdoptHelp in August 2013 and brought home our adorable, healthy, newborn son in December 2014. We had a great experience with the staff at AdoptHelp, our case workers Jen and Lisa, our attorney Steve, and Michelle in accounting. They responded quickly to our many calls and emails, even over the Christmas holiday when we were awaiting the birth of our son and had so many questions since this was our first adoption.
We interviewed 3 adoption agencies in our search and talked to clients from all of them. For us, the choice was clear after talking to clients and after numerous calls with our case worker Jen and with Mark the founder/​lawyer. We’ve traveled to Sherman Oaks three times to meet the staff. Once in the very beginning to put faces with names, and twice to attend their client picnics. We attended our first picnic while in the waiting stage, the only clients there without a child in tow, and we did this so we could talk to other parents and ask about their experiences to help us manage our expectations.
We recommend AdoptHelp and consider the staff life long friends.

Mark and his team are wonderful! We began the process a few months ago and they have gone above and beyond to be supportive. They are truly committed to uniting and growing families. We are happy to be working with them.

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give. We will forever be indebted to Adopthelp for our beautiful family. Having done two adoptions with them and both very different experiences, never once were we disappointed with how they managed a situation. Not only were they always available to discuss any concern we might have about the process but they thoughtfully, thoroughly, and honestly explained the process so we knew all possible outcomes of a situation — some good and some bad– but that is the nature of adoption. Their passion and dedication to help build families is clearly demonstrated in everything they do and their knowledge about how adoption works across the US is beyond reproach. We were never left to do anything on our own or figure anything out on our own, Adopthelp guided us through the process in 2 other states. For our 2^nd adoption, we literally moved so we could work with them because our 1^st experience was so amazing. During our second adoption, equally amazing, although very different, the same attention and expertise was always present. Having at least 4 friends who have adopted around the same time as us, no one had as positive an experience about the process as we did. Realistically, adoption is a stressful but I cannot imagine that there is anyone, anywhere more dedicated, knowledgeable, or caring for both the birth parents and the adoptive parents than the Team at Adopthelp.

Wait times for us have been much longer than advertised by this agency and discussed at the beginning of this process. If I would have had realistic expectations set upfront, I wouldn’t have been as disappointed. We did everything required of us and get nothing more than a brief status each month with no useful data. These is no communication otherwise.
Disappointed and questioning whether this was the right agency to trust. TBD

Eight years ago we used this company and it was a very good experience for my husband and I as well as the birth mother. We made sure she was well cared for, respected and her needs were met. The hard part is not knowing the exact outcome until it’s over or what all the expenses will be. It was stressful to say the least however I can’t imagine a better outcome. I will always hold a special place in my heart for these people and our birth mother.

Beware!!! Horrible!!! Absolutely do not use them as a birth mother! Lies and promises that aren’t kept! Stuck with all medical bills! Please use another agency and get everything in writing!!!

I can’t say enough good things about AdoptHelp. Everyone that works there is incredibly supportive and helpful. The most comforting component was that someone was ALWAYS available to answer questions for us. They followed through on every promise and completely exceeded our expectations. We love AdoptHelp and will be back when the time is right! xx

Mark Goldman and his staff are professional, cutting edge, fair, sensitive and caring. My experience with them was wonderful. I came to Adopt Help after an incredibly poor experience with an unethical, dishonest and ruthless Santa Monica adoption attorney. I wish all adoptive parents a caring, supportive adoption experience and highly recommend Adopt Help!

Allow me to begin by saying we haven’t completed an adoption with this agency, but after a long search of a number of agencies throughout the state, we were beyond impressed by AdoptHelp and are now signed up to begin the process.
