History

Established in 1992.

Historic Shepherdstown, the oldest town in the state of West Virginia, nestled in the lower Shenandoah Valley — is only 90 minutes from the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan areas but miles away from the stress and rushed lifestyle of the city. Stroll along German Street, filled with more than a dozen fine dining and casual restaurants, unique locally-owned shops offering everything from baby clothes to local arts and crafts, and an independent movie theater. You’re sure to find the perfect spot to stay, eat and shop here — all uniquely Shepherdstown.

Meet the Manager

Deborah T.

Manager

Deb Tucker, who goes by «Tucker», was a communications/marketing executive with over 30 years experience in the aerospace, high tech and financial services industries. This native Washingtonian who loves travel, people, food and all things French decided as a next chapter in her life she would open a restaurant and walk to work. She discovered Shepherdstown as part of her due diligence to find a location accessible to family and friends in the DC area. In her quest for involvement in the local community, Deborah became involved in a plethora of local organizations, including town hall and the Visitor’s Center. In a continuing effort to spread the word about the fascinating and beautiful town of Shepherdstown, «Tucker» has continued to push forward in an effort to promote and advance Shepherdstown events and businesses.
