Lakeshore Learning Store

By far the Best place for any aged child! They have everything you need for a child to learn!!! Love this place! Sign up for their text messages and get a free tote bag and coupons! I’ve found some awesome supplies at this store! Th best thing, any parent can do for their child is be their teacher!!!

Anytime I need teaching supplies or even a little inspiration, this is my go-​to place! They have a great selection throughout the store and I was able to make some awesome lesson plans for my Spanish class this summer. I also love that you can always find a good sale and use your store rewards card to save even more. Only negative. I have to go in there with a budget in mind or else I’ll end up buying everything I see!

I realised when I mentioned this place in the review for Learning Express I’d not done one for Lakeshore!
This is one of only three locations in the Houston area. This one in Conroe, one in the Galleria area, and one in Friendswood.
This place is *AMAZING*! They have everything! They have fun, educational toys and activities. They have a huge selection of books for many differing ages. They have art and craft supplies. Everything in the store is segmented into the appropriate section so you can find what you are looking for easily; blocks, dramatic play, art, math, science, social studies etc. From a parent to a teacher buying one or two things to a director/​manager trying to totally set up a school you can get it here.
They have many of their «toys» out all over the store for a constant hands on experience for kids and adults alike. It makes for a much more pleasant shopping experience for everyone. Well, except when it’s time to leave.
Once a week, on Saturdays, they have a totally free art/​craft project for kids from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. They’re fun easy and quick and totally engaging. The schedule for what’s being done when is on the website.
I’ve been in this store 4 times now and spent at least an hour each time and I know I’ve only *seen* about ¹⁄₃ of what’s actually stocked in this store. They may seem a bit expensive but what kind of price tag can you put on initiating and continuing a lifelong love of learning and exploring in a child?
Staff is very open and friendly. Always willing to spend as much time as needed to find exactly what you’re looking for.
