We have eaten here and had carry-​out several times. We visit the area but live in a city with a lot of excellent food choices, and with this as a basis for comparison, rarely has China Gate disappointed us.
Our experience is with the following food choices, our family’s typical order: egg rolls, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, crab rangoons, sweet and sour pork or chicken, and Mongolian beef.
Our food has been hot, tasty, and plentiful. The price is moderate, and the service is good. Be mindful they are closed on Monday.
My criticism is they don’t serve won ton soup. Other than that, we look forward to eating their food when we are in the area.

If u open at 11. I don’t see why u don’t have food on the buffet yet. Sign on outside says buffet is 6.50 got there and was charged 8.50. I mentioned the sign and was told, oh sign old. Really? Only 2 things on buffet and a butter rice. Was still charged 8.50 NEVER AGAIN will I go there!
