Shelton’s Premier Yoga Studio, Joonbug Yoga, is located inside of the historic 1912 building in downtown Shelton (above All Sports League Store and Xinh’s Restaurant).

This open space welcomes students new to yoga as well as advanced students. Access to the studio is available by stairway and elevator. We are now accepting new students of all levels for our diverse group yoga classes, private lessons and posture clinics. Please call Michelle Pugh at (360) 556‑6205 or email to register. Drop-​in students, please call 24 hours in advance to attend a yoga class.

History

Established in 2012.

Joonbug Yoga Studio was opened in January, 2012 by Michelle Pugh. She is a 200 Hr. Registered Yoga Teacher/​Yoga Alliance and Senior Graphic Designer, certified in Yoga, LaStone Hotstone Therapy and Usui Reiki. Michelle established Joonbug Graphic Design in 2006 and has been the Senior Graphic Designer for WA State Parks since 2001.

Business Owner

Michelle, owner of Joonbug Yoga, is a Senior Graphic Designer, certified in Yoga, LaStone Hotstone Therapy and Usui Reiki. Since childhood, her passions for healing and creativity have inspired her to share wellness with others. Michelle’s yoga practice has been an essential influence in her life since she took her first class over 20 years ago while practicing yoga, ballet and sports. She shares an intuitive and creative passion for yoga that blooms straight from the heart. Her experience with WA State Parks since 2001 has brought an even deeper appreciation of service with others. Her classes are for everyone and every body — blending strength, flexibility and wellness for those new to yoga as well as advanced students. Michelle, her husband, son and 2 dogs, enjoy their peaceful home near the Olympic Mountains and love skiing, fly fishing and exploring nature year-​round. Michelle also teaches at Living Spirit Yoga, the WA State Attorney General’s Office and Alderbrook Resort and Spa.
