Most amazing bed and breakfast. Great hospitality and an amazing breakfast every morning. These women work incredible hard and it shows. Can’t wait to go back again

If you’re looking to stay on Shelter Island, I recommend Seven! Beth and staff made you feel like you were staying at home or with family. They went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable. We stayed in a very comfortable room with a queen size bed and very spacious bathroom. And every morning the they had a great breakfast of oatmeal, quiche, yogurt, coffee, tea, and manchego cheese.
I would definitely recommend Seven and can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful accommodation! On a gorgeous fall day it was a special treat to come into a cozy warm atmosphere with candles lit, sweet music, coco and cookies. The rooms are pristine and the bathroom spa like with top of the line linens, soaps and art. Breakfast was the finest with fresh berries, quiche, locally made choices of granola, fresh yogurt, pastries, cheeses, local fresh eggs.amazing. It is a friendly, fun place to go!

Seven is good for the soul! From the time that my husband and I arrived, we felt completely at home. Beth does an amazing job of creating a nurturing and cozy environment for her guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are artisan soaps in the in-​room luxurious bathroom and the bed is so comfortable you won’t want to leave! Our only hesitation in recommending this gem is that this wonderful secret will be out! Will definitely be back!

Just back from an amazing time at this lovely B&B the owner Beth and her staff Christina and the other ladies whose name escapes me want to say Amy but unsure. Nevertheless it was one of the best B&B I’ve ever stayed at. The house was very clean, the room was lovely and bright the continental breakfast was excellent. Just less than a quarter of a mile from the lovely Sunset beach makes this place truly a gem and I can’t wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I stayed this past weekend at Seven (off-​season) and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised by our experience. First of all, Beth was an incredibly welcoming, generous, helpful, and kind host. The place was immaculate and newly renovated, with beautiful art curated throughout the entire house. The king size beds were exceptionally comfortable with plush mattresses we could have spent all day in. There was even a handwritten note and bottle of wine in our room to excuse any loud noises we might hear from other guests with younger children (not typically the norm).
The breakfast spread both mornings were delicious — all locally sourced: fresh croissants, baguettes, gruyère, brie, bacon, sausage, eggs, smoked salmon and capers, fresh orange juice, berries/​granola/​yogurt. We were the only guests staying in the house Sunday night and they STILL pulled out all the stops for breakfast on Monday morning! Both Kristina and Beth really went the extra mile to make our stay special not only at Seven, but also all around Shelter Island with great restaurant recommendations, hikes around town, and even bikes to use at our disposal!
I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was and would give it 10 stars if I were allowed. It was much like staying in the comfort of a friend’s place (that is… a super cool, hip, art dealer friend with a cute Weimaraner puppy!).

I had to travel to the Hamptons for business (I know, rough life), and found the listing for this incredible bed & breakfast on Shelter Island, not too far away. At first, I was attracted by the reasonable price for the two night stay, but after looking at the pictures of the amazing house that the owner, Beth, has recently remodeled, I was even more looking forward to this business trip.
I arrived a little late on a Sunday night, but Beth was great and had left me a note with directions to my room upstairs. Her beautiful (and incredibly friendly) Weimaraner puppy greeted me at the top of the stairs, and pointed me in the right direction. The house is beautifully decorated with original pieces of art that Beth has collected over the years, and the rooms were also impeccably decorated. White walls, white sheets, with colorful pillows and other furniture that was very stylish, modern, and fit the motif to a T. My room did not have a closet, but there was a place to hang clothes, if needed, on a modern coat rack extending from the wall. The bathrooms are all modernized, with plenty of hot water, roomy shower, and very clean. The beds are also among the most comfortable I have ever slept in, with down pillows and comforters that make it hard to crawl out of bed in the morning, if not for the delicious continental breakfast of fresh berries, croissants, baguettes, juice and coffee waiting downstairs. Sitting on the porch outside enjoying my breakfast, I was so caught up in the experience that I was almost late for my business appointment. Beth also had some excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area, including the Sunset Beach Hotel and Restaurant down the hill, and the Vine Street Café, also not far away.
I am reluctant to write this review giving it 5 stars because I want to keep it a secret to myself, but, honestly, all selfishness aside, everyone taking a trip to Shelter Island or the Hamptons needs to know about this place! I look forward to coming back again, and this time being able to spend more than just a couple of days. I would highly recommend Seven to everyone, but especially those who want a truly unique experience with, hopefully, more time to spend than I did. I plan on making many return trips to enjoy this place on my own terms. Thanks, Beth!
