O’Brien Ford

Well it starts off with a recall that ford sends out. Mind you they send one through the mail and the other through email.
Old man associate:
That doesn’t matter it’s not a recall but if you turn your car off and just turn it back on it resets anything and everything wrong with your car.
Me:
so the service and recall that comes from ford is just fake?
Old man associate:
what I’m telling you is that we can look at it but if we plug it in we will have to charge you for the service.
Me:
So I basically have to wait for my car to break down for you to service any recall?
Old man associate:
No I’m saying all you have to do is if it’s running bad just turn it on and off again and that takes care of it. I know this is a recall but if we check it out like this recall states then we will have to charge you if nothing is wrong. That’s how we stay in business.
Me:
That’s how you stay in business? Wait so what your telling me is that ford does these scams to have repeat business or is it just your location?
Old man associate:
What it says here on the recall is for extended warranty.
For up to 150k miles. Also if your having problems with your car just turn it off and turn it back on again and that fixes the problem…
Me:
Alright just throw that paper away. I know what an extended warranty is. I bought it. I read it. That is not the reason I am here. I am here for the recall that ford sent out. But your telling me if you check it then it will cost me if nothing is wrong with it. Hmmmmmm okay thank you for being shady. I’ll make sure to tell all my friends and family about this great service. I’m only one person but I do like social media. Also thank you for being so rude. The moral of the story is… If you but something from this dealer they won’t stand bind anything and also weasel their way out of fixing it. Not only is it shady but it makes me wonder how they stay in business.
If you like to be taken advantage of this is your place.
If you like for them to treat you like trash this is your place. Also if you want to be talked down to this is your place. If you want to be robbed with out a gun this is your place…
If you wan’t to buy a new car I would go somewhere that is better than this place. They might be selling you something that they can’t cover if you have any type of recall. Because if they have to check it out they will charge you for it. BECAUSE THATS HOW THWY STAY IN BUSSINESS! Oh well I am only one person…
