This ‘smoothie café’ offers like 4 – 5 unimpressive smoothie flavors. My boyfriend and I decided to indulge in a couple bubble tea smoothies. I got Honey Dew. He got Mango. The bubbles were like something not found in any other bubble tea I’ve ever had. They were warm gloppy slurps of a possibly moldy afterbirth-like substance. Both of them were pretty much undrinkable. I guess what do you expect from a ‘smoothie shop’ that mixes ice, milk, afterbirth, and flavor powder then calls it a smoothie. No fruit in my god damn smoothie. I remember when this first place opened up and actually had some pretty good wraps. They’re gone. They might have even had decent smoothies back then too. I don’t understand how this place is still business. There’s hookah bars everywhere and the only thing this one seems to offer is an ample amount of comfortable dirty leather couch seating.

Dirty. Unfriendly staff. Overpriced smoothies. Go to surf city and get a fresh smoothie!

The quality of the place has really gone down as compared to how it was 2 years ago. They got rid of all of the couches, and now only have tables and booths, so it’s not as enjoyable to smoke the hookah. Also, no more bubble tea. The waiter we had was quite incompetent. We were 6 people, and he only gave us one menu, and when i asked him for another, he was quite surprised and was like«you want another menu?»… Originally the place was run by this very nice/friendly Egyptian guy named Hanny, but now I don’t know what’s become of the place. The food was good though, only reason I gave it 2 stars.
