History

Established in 2001.

After studying the Amish culture and making good friendships, we decided that we would enjoy partnering with the many small family shops that specialized in building quality furniture. Jim’s background is 27 years in the Automotive Industry working as a Wood Model Maker, Foam Modeling, and a Seat Pattern Maker & Upholsterer. He finished his automotive career in Quality Control. All of this experience makes a good background for the furniture business, with Jim insisting to be hands-​on with each builder, spending a lot of time in their shops. Our relationships with each Amish builder assures us that we are getting the best quality and price.

Being a stay-​at-​home mom for 25 years, Julie ventured into the furniture business with her husband Jim. It was challenging to learn about the 1,000’s of different pieces offered, as well as all the customization that is available. But now, after many years in the business, Julie is considered one of the best and most knowledgeable in the business. Her flair for decorating and style has helped many customers in their choices. Julie has a passion to see people enjoy quality furniture, especially after seeing what is being sold in other stores.
