Wag N Tails Dog Activity Center

We boarded our dog here and he came home with scabs and wounds all over his nose, the top of his head and below his eyes! If I could post pictures here, I would — You would think he was abused! They said he was agitated in the crate and did this to himself… Even if this was the case, we NEVER received a phone call while we were on vacation! Plus, I even called midweek to see how he was doing and they said, great! A month later, the scabs have gone, but it is all tender, pink skin in these areas. Obviously, this was not a «one night in the crate» thing, but repetitive! What makes me so upset is that they didn’t even call! And that they let it go on for days! Our dog was NOT taken care of here! (And no, no offer of reimbursement, etc from them. When I complained, the office manager said maybe we would want to sign up for private lessons for crate training!?? That’s not what our dog needed!)

They have the best customer service (for dogs and parents) we were in a rush of finding a pets boarding hotel and with these girls was the best option ever. We couldn’t use the boarding service (which we are sorry) because our plans changed in a minute (my husband’s job) but truly we’ll be back for day care and grooming.
The place is clean and it has a lovely decoration. They gave us a report card of each of our dogs which makes them look so professional. We recommend this place!

I have used Wag N Tails for grooming and day care. I LOVE them! Marie is the best groomer around. She is so gentle and knows what is best for my dog. She even helped me with figuring out my dogs allergies and steps to improve her health! They are a very informative activity center and great with all dogs. I would recommend anyone to this place. I trust them with my girl Kozzi!

My experience with Wag N Tails has been excellent. My dog’s groomer, Marie, is the best I’ve found. I have since moved out of the area and continue to make the 45 minute drive for Marie.
— My dog has tremendous anxiety regarding going to the groomer. Marie is so empathetic with my dog and understands his behavior and works with him.
— My dog used to get frequent ear infections as he’s a white floppy eared dog. Marie suggested ear flushes. He no longer gets chronic ear infections.
— My dog gets matted very easily (he’s a poodle havanese mix). Marie has never gotten the clippers too close to his skin. When I’ve gone to other places this hasn’t been my experience and he’s gotten burned by the clippers.
— Marie is very knowledgeable. She offers cost-​effective advice to improve my dog’s health.
–Most importantly, when I leave my dog in Marie’s care I am confident that he is well taken care of.
I not only recommend Wag N Tails, but I highly recommend Marie as a groomer.

We have taken our two English Bulldogs to a few different day care/​boarding centers, but this place is the best!!! Staff is ridiculously friendly, our boys come home happy and worn out, and they are very accommodating to any special needs. They sent us updates over the weekend, pictures and also welcomed us calling at any time to get updates as well. We will be taking them here from now on with no questions! Thank you so much!!!

I couldn’t give this place 6 Stars, but I would if I could! I lost my 11yr old rottweiler, Mocha, back in Oct 2013 and I do believe she took part of my heart with her! She will forever be my baby, no matter how many dogs I own after her! So, having said that, my house was TOO quiet with her gone and my heart ached so much for her back, I thought I would get another rottie. Well, we couldn’t afford a new Rottie puppy so we searched and found a 1yr old rescue American Rottie, we named her Molly. BOY, did this pup needs some discipline! So much so, that I was a little fearful I wouldn’t be able to keep her~ She was NOTHING like my Mocha! But, I love the Breed and knew that I had to give her the best possible chance I could because this breed in particular gets a bad rap sometimes and I knew if I could find the right person to help me train her ~ I would work hard to get her to be the pup/​dog I know these breeds can be!!!
Because she was a tad aggressive when we got her, I signed her up at Wag N Tails with Christine for one on one training. I will admit even after the first 2 classes I was leary that this dog was too aggressive from living on the streets and wasn’t sure I could handle her. After the 3^rd class, I was learning and so was Molly learning and I was truly beginning to see a change in her! I believe, I went to 6 private classes with Christine and Molly went to 2 or 3 daycare classes also to learn how to play right with other dogs. Today, I can say without the help of Wag N Tails, Christine and to Cat for believing in Molly and me, I may not have kept her! THANKS SO MUCH! My Molly is and never will be Mocha, but she is super sweet and loving and I’m grateful to have her in my life !

Want your dog to come home feeling like he had a great time away from you? This is the place. Your dog will come home and be docile, maybe sleep for ten straight hours because he had such a busy day at Wag N Tails.
They care about your beloved pooch, they really do. The employees make sure that your dog is safe, well cared for, and has a blast. The dogs play together for most of the day, under strict supervision of the employees. Small dogs and seniors are kept in a separate enclosure for their own safety. Dogs are regularly walked outside as well as play hard inside. There is plenty of room for the dogs to break into a sprint. The play area is really big.
When you board your dog, you will get a report card when you pick up your dog or e-​mailed to you. It will detail how your pooch did during his boarding stay. It really feels good to know that they care.
I don’t like that it is 45 minutes away from me and I pass about six other kennels and day care places on my way to Wag N Tails, but it is worth it. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. It is clean and safe for your dog. It is excellent.
