I met up with some girlfriends in my old neighborhood, My friend suggested this place and I had not been here in about 6 years. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the place has been updated. It was much brighter than I remember and they had a lot more TV’s. The bar had just been remodeled to include many different craft beers. I am not a big beer drinker, but my friends were impressed with the variety. I had the chicken fajita salad, the chicken was seasoned nicely and the salad had lots of toppings in addition to the lettuce and the salsa it was very good! My friends ordered the Maurice salad, turkey rueben and chicken strip basket, Everyone enjoyed their meals and the staff allowed to sit around and talk and I didn’t feel rushed to leave, which is nice when you are catching up with old friends! The manager stopped by and we were discussing one of the new beers they had on tap and she brought us all a sample. I will return here when I am in the area again! It was the perfect spot to meet! Great service, great prices, and great food! They sometimes have bands on the weekends, so check out their schedule if you are looking to see some live music. This is a great place to have small banquets, too. My friend said her son’s baseball team comes here for their banquets.

Not bad burgers, but soooo expensive! $ 40 for two burgers and two beers? I’m headed elsewhere. This place hasn’t changed since I was in junior high…15 years ago. Time for some updating!

Party of 8, server was great, drinks were great but the kitchen failed miserably and the manager in-charge was nice but clueless as how to right the situation; i.e., 3 orders of fries as sides on hamburgers came out of the kitchen cold, pierogi dinner served w/o the sausage – after waiting a while the sausage was served but very pink in the middle, build your own burger served on an old dried out hamburger bun. We were there for a birthday celebration but became distracted by the continual need for our server to assist us. The manager came to our table and instead of handling the situation she chose to defend the cooking process of their sausage and explain the buns come daily, discounted someone’s bill who was not impacted and provided a giftcard with no information. BTW, we are a group that goes out at minimum once a month. Don’t waste your money. We will not be back for food… maybe a drink but nothing more.

I ordered a gin and tonic, thinking I was getting an amazing deal since it was only $ 5. Then the waitress shows up with a drink that is mostly flat tonic and a brown lime as a garnish. I was appalled, clearly no one cared to even look at what they were serving me. I hope this was a one-off bad experience because it was a Sunday night and we were the only people in the bar besides some of the waitresses friends. Very disappointed, since it looks like there’s always a huge crown every time I drive by at night.

We ordered the full slab of baby back ribs which were AWFUL! Normally baby back ribs just fall off the bone these could barely be cut apart with a steak knife. l told my husband after both of us tasting them that we should just tell the waitress that we don’t want to eat them and just leave but we were leaving early the next morning for a 12 hour road trip and were too tired to find another restaurant so he ate them since he was hungry. After tasting the french fries which were soggy we didn’t even eat any more so a full plate was left. l would never return to this place when l am in Michigan.

Came for lunch. A quiet place to talk and have light lunch with an old friend. We had a few drinks and talked for hours. The waitresses gave us some space but occasionally checked in. When we were ready for some food I got calamari which was the strips kind(not my favorite) but it tasted alright. My companion got the chicken fajita salad. She picked at it because the chicken was overcooked as was the taco shell it came in. Her beer was served with the wrong kind of glass– not a huge deal. There were also a few annoying fruit flies which is never good. Overall the conversation is what we came for and more than made up for the mediocre lunch.

My family and I have been coming here for years! The food is always fantastic — I normally get the fajitas, but I recently ordered the Turkey Artichoke Sandwich and I was super impressed. They roast the turkey in-house, so it’s not the slimy thin pieces of lunch meat you usually get on a turkey sandwich. These were delicious, smokey, thick slices of turkey with tomatoes, lettuce and a spread of spinach artichoke dip on ciabatta. It was so big I took half home. The service is decent and the atmosphere is like your typical sports bar. It’s unfortunate that they are right off of busy 23 mile road or else the patio would be awesome to sit on. Take your friends here to watch the next big game!

Mr. B’s was our final destination for a road rally I participated in. 8:30 on a Saturday night and the place was packed with different birthday parties, fundraiser and communion parties. Yes, a communion party. We had about 75 people participate in our road rally and the group rented out a part of the bar for us to end the night. They rented the place around 9 and our team got there around 8:30. Looking around, there were still multiple parties eating in our area. Granted, we got there at 8:30, but when other road ralliers came they had to stand around and wait for people to leave. Very disorganized. We ordered a round of beers(there were 6 of us) and it took them about 20 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered 2 pizzas(veggie and pepperoni/banana peppers), 3 salads(fajita salad, harvest salad and the Chinese chicken salad) and pretzel bites. Food came out a decent time: pizza was good, loved the fajita and harvest salads and the pretzel bites were great. Deep fried pretzels. oh ya. We ordered another round of beers which took another 25 minutes to get and at this point we were just full and ready to go. When we asked for our bill the waitress told us that she put the entire party on one tab. I’m not talking about our 6 person party. but the entire 75 people road rally. Now why would you put all of us on one tab? Ah lawd… it took her about 25 minutes to go through the entire bill and separate and another 10 after she took our cards for us to pay. Let’s just say at the end of dinner, we were tired, full and annoyed. Food was good but the customer service and the disorganization was the reason why I rate it a 2. I’m sure if I sat at the bar it probably would’ve been a different experience.

I have had better experiences at other Mr. B’s locations. An inquiry with the waitress confirmed that this location is independent of other locations. That also explains why the online menu items I desired weren’t available at this specific Mr. B’s location. That is my fault for assuming all Mr. B’s were the same. My dining companion asked me, «How do you screw up French fries?» After a sampling, I replied, «Maybe fry them in the same oil that you fried fish in all week.» IDK, but that is how they tasted. The hot wings were fair. They were very small and dry. They reminded me of microwavable hot wings. The delicious blue cheese that they served with them was their savior. I rated this place as a restaurant. Realistically, this is a bar that serves food and probably should be rated as such. Did I expect too much? Perhaps. However, that is a matter of opinion and you should formulate your own. I guess it is all about perspective. After all, the pizza did look good. I bet it tastes great around midnight after having a few cocktails. With all the HDTV’s, I’m sure this is a great place to watch the big game with friends. Oh, and they do have live music.
