Delightfully refreshing! I’ve had several of the savory crepes and was big fan of them all so far. I enjoy the old hollywood atmosphere very much. I would also agree that the paper plates and plastic utensils add an unfavorable cheapness. I would go for 5 stars except on my most recent trip there it were slammed. They wouldn’t so much as take our drink order and we were told to have a seat and they would come to us to take our order. We waited for 15 minutes and realized we’d probably be waiting much much longer for our food so opted to go to the empty restaurant next door. They don’t seem to have the ability to serve a large capacity efficiently, which is a let down.

3 stars is being generous because the service is horrible and the dessert crêpe i had was just ok. I had the sophia…5spice pear nage with mascarpone and red wine reduction. I could not taste the spice blend at all and the red wine reduction was just a tiny drizzle… hardly worth bothering with. The crêpe itself wasn’t bad, but i wanted to get the buckwheat batter and they were out. Overall not impressed. Maybe a savory crêpe would be better, but i will never find out because you only get one chance and they blew it!

Me and my boyfriend ate at Hepburn’s a couple weeks ago. I have to say it was not bad. I loved the café’s concept of using Audrey Hepburns era as a theme for the café. I loved the brick wall decorated with photos of Audrey and other stars. The crepes were delicious. The filling was just right and it did not over power the crêpe to the point where it could be considered a burrito. The only things i did not like were: 1. The crepes were served on the same paper plates I buy from Costco. They also give you platic forks and knives. Being on a paper plate, gave me the feeling of eating it at home rather than being in a cute café. It also gave a cheap impression. 2. the coffee was not that good. Maybe I have high expectations for gourmet coffee drinks, but I did not think theirs was all that good. Overall, Hepburn’s is a cute café and I would go back again!

I’m only giving them 3 stars because I had to wait 40 mins for my crêpe because their crêpe maker burned and«was acting up». C’mon, its just crepes! You would think they would invest in a back up crêpe maker since they are a creperie… but no. The food, however, was delicious. Was it worth the 40 min wait? Um, no. Maybe 20. Otherwise, the place was very cute. Because of my experiece, Im on the fence about recommending them.

This place is awesome… Its a little girly I wont lie, and they do have coffee drinks with whip cream. Its great food though and every time I go in the girl(who graduated from Schoolcraft) that makes the crepes knows just what I would like. I’d give it a 4.5 but I had to round to 5. Only cause its very lady oriented.

Not bad; however, not the best place for crêpes in Detroit. I went on a Sunday around 1:00. We waited about an hour for our food, despite a relatively empty restaurant. When the food arrived, the restaurant was closing and we felt a little rushed to finish. The food was okay to good, but compared to other Detroit crêperies, it was disappointing and definitely not worth the wait. We tried the Bogart and the Day. Hint: I think the sweet crêpes come out faster than the savory crêpes. If you’re in the mood for a crêpe and can’t make it to Midtown(Detroit), you might enjoy this crêpery.

Hepburn’s is a complete and total GEM… delightfully located in an area of Shelby Township devoid of elegant bistros and intimate coffee shops… Hepburn’s offers fresh, made to order, healthy food choices that you would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere in the area. The first thing to notice is the décor… rich tones of deep plum, golden maize and ruby red provide a velvety background for the classic framed«black and whites» from the«Audrey Hepburn» era that adorn the walls. It is so heartwarming and uplifting to the spirit to sit in this lovely creperie and see women walk in together, representing generations within a single family, and stroll down memory lane, lovingly discussing the various films represented on the walls — grandmothers sharing stories of yesterday with their daughters and granddaughters… The food here is divine. Whether you have a sweet tooth or prefer a savory crêpe… the choices are endless… and with every order made specifically to your liking, you can easily customize ingredients to your personal tastes simply by asking. The ingredients are fresh fresh fresh and the establishment is clean clean clean! GREATPLACE for meetings or small showers. OH! ANDTHEYCATERTOO!!! KILLER!!! Is it for kids? Eh… older kids perhaps… not really meant for little ones who may be inclined to lack patience and«quiet voices»…this establishment is really geared towards quiet and relaxation, with many people choosing to work on their laptops or read…

I came in to this place last Sunday. There were a few bigger groups there, but it was maybe half full. My boyfriend ordered a crêpe and we each ordered coffee. The coffee was fine. An hour later, we still hadn’t gotten the crêpe. The server came over to apologize for the wait, but after an hour we left(hungry) and the woman at the counter(maybe the owner?) gave us a hard time about a refund for the crêpe! I suppose they think an hour for one crêpe is acceptable? Anyway, we won’t be going back, which is unfortunate, because this place looked cute and we had high hopes.

What I like most about Hepburn’s is that it isn’t trying to be something that it isn’t. They have super savory ingredients, but they do not overload their crepes with too many. For example, the Bergman with ham, onion, gorgonzola, and balsamic; it is rich without being too heavy. Or the Doris with lemon, butter, and powdered sugar. Hepburn’s owner does a wonderful job of walking that fine line between savory and overwhelming. In addition, they maintain what a crêpe is-yummy ingredients in a lightly folded crêpe. They do not heap in so much food your crêpe ends up looking like an enormous chipotle burrito! Try this little café out, it is a cute location with yummy food.

Delish crepes. The savory crepes seemed pricey, but after looking at similar places, I guess their pricing is pretty standard. LOVED the Ingrid and the Peppard. The wait for food was a bit long. Overall pretty good.

Great crepes. Great coffee. If you haven’t tried this place yet you should; it’s still in the«best kept secret» phase. Get in now and you can be the cool kid that was there first.

They sell legalized crack — it’s called the Ingrid. I’m actually sitting here right now using their wireless internet(it’s super fast btw) and stuffing my chubby cheeks with a strawberry, vanilla custard, and Chantilly cream crêpe. This place is great. Super friendly staff. I just spent the last 15 minutes trying to hook up to the internet because my computer was being difficult. The staff went out of their way to try and disconnect and then reconnect the connection just to make sure I could get on and make sure it wasn’t them. How nice is that? I tried explaining I have Windows Vista so odds are it’s my computer that’s failing out. I am now stuffing my face with their gelato. I picked the chocolate because really in order to not like chocolate I’m pretty sure you have to be a terrorist. ;-) Also really great. I’m so glad I found my new official local hang out!!!

As good as it gets! Hepburn’s was an excellent choice for my wedding shower. We were served both savory and sweet crepes that were absolutely delicious. I now live in LA, but anytime I’m in town, I go to Hepburn’s. This isn’t your typical in and out coffee shop. If you want ordinary quick fast food, this is NOT the place to go. Everything is made fresh. I also really love the environment here. I am a huge fan of the classics! The b&w photos of movie stars, posh furniture and décor make the experience absolutely lovely. And in my opinion, you won’t get a better coffee anywhere else in Metro Detroit other than Hepburn’s.

I came here a couple of weeks ago with my friend ready to indulge in my first crêpe experience. I ordered a savory crêpe called«Kelly», I thought it tasted like a saugy spinach pie, and was not impressed. My friend ordered the«Rooney» which was much better but still lacking. I thought both crepes were fairly dry. We also ordered sweet crepes which were MUCHMUCH better! I had the«ingrid». The strawberries were fresh, the cream was perfect. It was heaven in my mouth. My friend ordered the«Jimmy» with bananas. It was good, but I felt it needed something more. Crepes are definitely meant to be sweet and not savory. I would come here just for dessert next time. The décor is very cute and it was very cozy inside as well. We also ordered latte’s and I really wanted a giant ceramic mug full of latte’ but instead I was given a lousy paper cup. The crepes also came on paper plates with plastic utensils. That was really a turn off for me. I believe this place has a lot of potential. It’s a great concept, just lacking in a few areas. They also need something peanut butter on their menu!

Great selection of crepes. A «savoury crêpe» and a «sweet crêpe» make the perfect lunch. I tried the Bogart which had aioli sauce(my favorite) atop turkey, swiss, bacon and avocado. For dessert, the Ingrid is nice for those who love strawberries. The place is decorated well, too.

Couldn’t wait to try this Crêpe. So I was really excited when I got there. I was the only customer when I arrived. It’s basically a fast food Crêpe place. I was expecting a sit down. I made my order at the counter. The lady I dealt with was kind of strange, in the way she made me pay right then and there. That’s why I say it’s a fast food set up. I had already set my things on the table and most of the tables weren’t clean. She came over and proceeded to spray the table with my coffee on the table. I tried to grab it, too late. I just hoped for the best that whatever she was using wasn’t harmful. I had a spinach cheese and nut crêpe. Thought it was buckwheat it was good. I then had a lemon crêpe. Not so great on buckwheat. I would have given the place a 3 star, but didn’t because of the fast food service set up, the spray situation and the fact of paper plates and plastic ware. I really didn’t care for that. The building is brand new and the interior is beautiful. Loved the colors and the pictures on the walls. However, the staff seemed cold and indifferent. When I inquired why they were closed on Mondays the lady implied«were so busy on Sunday we run out of food» OK, now I’ve heard it all! Who does the ordering?

50’s Hollywood chic atmosphere with a creative and delicious menu. Plenty of seating, free wireless and the service was pleasant and quick. There’s also outdoor seating available when the weather’s nice. The parking lot is in the back, enter off of 24 Mile Road. I had the Bogart on a buckwheat crêpe — very flavorful and filling. Can’t wait to try some of the others! For dessert I went with the Jimmy — Nutella and bananas. Seriously, what could be bad about anything with Nutella? They also serve bubble tea, which is tea with milk and little tapioca beads, and have a nice gelato selection. Crepes are about $ 4-$ 7 each, so price is pretty reasonable. Overall, very good and definitely not your run-of-the-mill coffee shop. The only reason I couldn’t give it five stars was that they were out of swiss cheese, which is in four of their menu items, and had discontinued one other menu item that I was looking forward to trying.
