We are a full scope treatment center dedicated to visual rehabilitation of patients of all ages.

Treatments include learning-​related vision problems, including ADD/​ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism/​Asperger and reading and tracking problems.

Treatment for Strabismus (eye turns) and Amblyopia (lazy eye).

We offer Visual rehabilitation for patients with traumatic brain injury.

Treatment for Stress-​related visual problems, including blurred vision, headaches or computer vision syndrome.

Also sport vision correction and/​or improvement.

History

Established in 2004.

Dr. Danna Haba, FCOVD has provided her patients with vision therapy treatment since 1987 through her optometry business, Shelby EyeCare. She has helped individuals with strabismus, learning disabilities, ADD/​ADHD, autism, asperber and brain injury. Dr. Haba’s educational and professional experience as a behavioral optometrist has allowed her to treat individuals with visual processing limitations that inhibit their ability to learn and read. The growth in successful vision therapy treatment of patients suffering from closed head injuries prompted Dr. Haba to expand her vision therapy practice. In 2004 Excel Institute of Shelby was opened in the adjoining office of Shelby EyeCare. Since 2004 the public has been informed of the great advancements made in treating individuals with all types of visual disorders. Excel Institute is excited to be on the cutting edge of these advances as we offer visual rehabilitation to our patients.
