They had me at the mini pineapple upside down cake. O. M. G. !!!
Glazed pretzel shaped donuts, apple fritters, jelly filled. I was in donut heaven. You can’t go wrong with any choice. I walked out with a half dozen huge donuts and a mini pineapple upside down cake for $ 6!!! Heaven help me and my personal trainer! I think I ate 3 donuts before I made it back to my hotel.
I had no idea such an awesome bakery was located in this small town. The staff was friendly and I think they love their product more than the customers.
If you’re ever in Sheboygan or on your way to Green Bay make the stop here. It’s well worth it.

Stopped in our way up to Green Bay. We shared a crueller and it was fresh and tasty. We also took a slice of the lemon shortcake to go and that was very very good. Very fresh with a great lemon flavor and a nice amount of whipped cream (buttercream?) to balance out the tang of the lemon curd. Would definitely go back and try more items. I love small town bakeries, you just don’t see them in Socal anymore.

This place is a gem. We stopped in during our trip to the PGA Championship. Walking through the door feels like a step back in time. So many delicious options, it was hard to choose! I highly recommend this place.

This is one of my favorite spots in Sheboygan. It’s a great bargain, especially because the quality is so high! Their rye, rolls, and sourdough breads are absolutely delicious. I’ve never had a donut or a cupcake from there that I didn’t like. Their mini tarts are adorable and one of my favorites. Their apple and cherry pies? Awesome.
But the number one reason why we go there is for their cookies. They are addictive. They also have SO MANY adorable cookies, it’s impossible to pick just one. Plus, on Wednesdays, it’s crazy cookie day, so cookies are cheaper!
I recommend their mini tarts and any of their sugar cookies, plus their honey bear cookies. But honestly? You can never really go wrong when it comes to Johnston’s.

What can I say I grew up on this bakery as a kid and I love everything in the great place. The people are great, very very friendly! I get the chocolate mud pies (normally called Pershing) and they are mind blowing! The cinnamon in the middle and chocolate together are just sooo good! I also like the cruellers sp? Like kind of glazed long Coffee cake doughnuts great also. And the hard rolls are the best in the city don’t you forget about that. If your hungry in the AM don’t hesitate to go to this GEM

Wow! This place is a must! The donuts were outstanding. The Bavarian cream filled chocolate covered donut was my favorite, filled probably about a 3rd full! The quality and effort and that goes into their baked goods comes through in the taste and is way better than most of the bakeries in Chicago. This is how bakeries should be! Super happy to find this bakery :-)

This is the BEST bakery in Sheboygan! I have ordered several birthday cakes over the years and they are always the greatest!
They also have a great coffee shop within this bakery and a very nice table area to meet for coffee with friends. Of course, the fragrance of the baked goods may get to you, and you’ll have to treat that sweet tooth of yours, as well!

They are the only place on this planet that sells a particular brand of English Muffin Bread.
We’ve been buying their birthday cakes for years — and have never been disappointed. The frosting is never gritty, and the style is classic, just like you’d imagine a birthday cake from your childhood.
