Better Life Chiropractic and Wellness specializes at addressing your whole health; proactively. Good health comes from a combination of a well-​functioning physical body, good nutrition, and minimizing the stress of day to day life so that you can live your life the way you choose. Instead of waiting until you break down and your health is in crisis, we look to find and address the underlying issues to save you from down time, low energy, and feeling older than you should.

History

Established in 2007.

Dr John Reitz suffered a severe spinal injury during his senior year at Sheboygan Falls High School. While sledding at Rochester Park, he went off a ramp and injured his back. An ambulance ride to the hospital, xrays, and exam later, he was told to go home and rest for a week. After that time, and no resolution in symptoms, he returned for more xrays and was diagnosed with a broken vertebrae in his spine. He went through the medical approach of a solid, custom-​made, plastic brace for a month and after that time was told he was fine. No other recommendations were given and he went to undergrad wanting to be a medical doctor or physical therapist. After a career day at UW-​LaCrosse, and recommendation to see a chiropractor there, the rest is history. He immediately changed his mission in life as he saw the immense benefit and what chiropractic is and does. Without that injury, he never would have been exposed to the power of chiropractic.

I went to undergrad at UW-​La Crosse and was pre-​med or physical therapy until I was recommended to see a guy called a Chiropractor. I never heard of Chiropractic before but I ended up seeing one in La Crosse and that doctor changed my life and the lives of everyone I see today as I immediately knew what I wanted to do. I went to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Iowa, where Chiropractic all started, and returned home to make a difference.

I worked at a clinic for a few years and started Better Life Chiropractic and Wellness in April of 2007. I have been honored to be voted ‘Best Chiropractor in Sheboygan County’ numerous times in the last few years as I am very passionate about allowing everyone to obtain a Better Life… one that we all deserve.
