what a great piece of history! Such a beautiful building with so much rich background. I hated the fact that after hours there are a group of young punks that skate board around the premises and tear up the property. i was there doing the 4th of July week and witnessed them breaking the windows to the parked train cabooses. The kids were literally climbing all over it(like on top of the roof). They were throwing rocks and breaking windows to climb through them. it was after hours, but still… geez talk about no respect. Anyways, i totally love this small piece of history, great place to take the kids and any history buffs. its also supposedly haunted… creepy!
