Kolache Factory

Kolache? I hardly knowche… crap, that didn’t make any sense. Well, whatever, I’m drunk on bacon and cheese wrapped in a delightful shell made of bread. That is like everything I love right there, down to the something being wrapped in something else (especially if the first something is bacon and cheese).
The Kolache Factory should be sweeping the nation. True story. Reasonably priced (cheap, even) tasty food, ready when you walk in the door, lots of tasty options. What’s not to love?
So the basics, for the uninitiated. Kolaches are basically little bread rolls stuffed with things. At the Kolache Factory, they are stuffed with bacon & cheese, ham and cheese, egg ham and cheese, sausages, polish sausages, pizza toppings, Italian chicken, and so on and so forth. There are fruit filled things, cinnamon roll type things, and croissants too! I’m a big fan of the mild or Texas hot sausages. And I LOVE the ham and cheese kolache. it is my go to kolache. They dice up the ham nice and tiny, add melty cheese and voila! delicious! You can get them warm or room temp (if you are taking them home). You just need to pop them in the microwave for like 20 seconds when you are ready to eat them and they are pipin’ hot and ready for your belly!
Added bonus, you can order warm or frozen dinner rolls by the dozen. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING JUST THAT! We had a coupon for buy one get one free and got 2 dozen frozen dinner rolls that we took for Thanksgiving. We let them thaw per the instructions and popped them in the oven and they came out perfectly cooked and they were quite possibly the best dinner roll I’ve had. And they were cheap (even without the coupon)!
Do yourself a favor and swing by a Kolache Factory sometime. You’ll be happy you did, I promise.

Kolaches are delicious, and Kolache Factory has a ton of variety. The fruit flavored and cream cheese kolaches are great, and so are the breakfast egg varieties. The sausage gravy kolache was so good.
The interior is clean — very important in my mind.
Kolaches are an inexpensive treat! The first time I came here, I went back two mornings later because I liked it so much!

Love picking up my order of fresh, delicious Kolaches to bring to work in the morning. Such an assortment of flavors and ingredients! All baked in a soft, pillowy dough. I always get great service and they always ask if I want my Kolaches warmed up before I take them, which I always think is a nice touch. I was able to order them online and pick them up the next morning. Definitely a great place to have in Shawnee for breakfast and lunch.

Ordered a dozen mixed fruit on-​line for work. Everyone raved about them. I didn’t get to try them myself. Looked really good.

The sausage and gravy is like if god and the devil teamed up and made the greatest breakfast food ever, ever.

My husband just polished off 3 Kolaches. He keeps saying he’s glad we don’t live closer. They are light & fluffy and run the gamut between sweet and savory.

I went here for the first time at the beginning of October and I have already been back several times. It is not overpriced in my opinion and the food taste fresh and of good quality. Every time I have gone in the workers have been friendly. I will be back!

I am so excited there is a new Kolache Factory location! I visited a couple weeks ago with my son. Again, spinach is my favorite. My kids love the Italian chicken kind, and I love grabbing them a couple for a quick convenient lunch on the go. The new location is nice and tidy, and the kolaches are equally as good.
