K-7 Liquors

Once upon a time, I described K7 in Shawnee as a medium-​sized liquor store. My how times have changed. The store had more than doubled in size and features countless wines in every price range, a bevy of microbrews (that’s beer to all of you Bud Light drinkers), shelves chock-​full of spirits and dozens of those cute little airplane-​sized bottles you can shove in your pockets to prepare for your in-​laws’ mandatory Sunday dinners.
Separate in check-​out but kindred in spirit is K7’s party shop, where you’ll find a well-​stocked cigar humidor, cigarettes and mixers galore. You’ll also find everything from corkscrews to beer pong balls to keep the party rolling — literally and figuratively.
Have a liquor related question? Don’t be shy. The helpful staff at K7 can tell you the difference between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and which tequilas make the best margaritas. They’ll even explain why there’s no chilled red section with a straight face.
And finally, the store is open til 8 on Sundays now, giving you a whole extra hour to wrap up your weekend drinkathon.

We love having a store close to home and the guys running it are great! We appreciate how they actually give you honest recommendations vs selling you high priced items like the Shawnee Mission Parkway store. If you can’t find what you are looking for, they order it! Highly recommend.
