We specialize in small batch specialty coffee roasting. Wanting you to taste the flavor of the bean, rather than our roaster — most all coffees are of a medium roast level and very few are blended (single origin). Coffee is a crop, and our offering list changes continually as we rotate through each growing regions harvest cycle. We pride ourselves on being a small, family run business that you can trust to get your day started right.

History

Our mission is to find exceptional green coffee at the best possible price, roast it to the fullest flavor and share it with those who seek and recognize quality, and see the value in purchasing it. We are knowledgeable, honest, consistent, and loyal, who started a small business to resist corporate mentality and seek freedom and flexibility while promoting local economy.

Business Owner

Stubbie’s history, like everyone’s, has taken many turns. His journey began in Nebraska where he grew up and lived until joining the Air Force at 18. His military career took him to Germany, the first Gulf War, and finished in Southern California, at which point he left, beginning a 14 year career at Sprint. During his last few years there, his journey with coffee began on the sidelines as a new found hobby. Now, he has gone from an average daily coffee drinker to an expert in coffee beans, their origins, and the fine art of roasting. His genuine interest and curiosity has lead him to building his own customer base in not only custom roasting for his fellow coffee drinkers, but also to internationally distributing thousands of pounds of green coffee to fellow enthusiasts. His appreciation and «snobiness» for the true flavor of coffee and how that is delicately achieved in roasting techniques is what makes his coffee so smooth, full of flavor, and a pleasure to drink.
