Arby’s

My mid-​sized roast beef sandwich had plenty of roast beef, but the bun was somewhat dry. The curly fries portion size was generous, plenty of sauces and toppings were available, and the dining area was clean, and nicely done. The service was somewhat slow, the soda machine wasn’t working right, and one of the sauces was empty.

If you ignore the long wait, you’ll be glad when you get your hot and fresh food here. Yummmm! The employees are friendly enough through the drive through. The wait is too long, though.

I have tried the drive-​thru and gone in — service is always very slow. The food is good, be sure to check your order thoroughly, they make many mistakes.

How many of you have been taken in by the large poster in the window of the fabulous new sandwich du-​jour at fast food restaurants, promising succulent meats, tons of gooey cheeses, hickory smoked bacon, and whatever else, pictured to look so scrumptious that you cant live without it?
Okay i did too, this time at Arbys with the «Angus triple cheese and bacon» sandwich, which they are touting this month. Isn’t it amazing how the picture on the poster differs from what you unwrap on your tray?
I just admit the sandwich was not horrible… but felt like I was suckered into buying a more expensive sandwich to recover the cost of all their advertising.
This selection has the beef, sliced thicker than an original Arbys roast beef sandwich, but only about half the amount of slices. The cheese was present but looked like a sauce rather than slices. The bacon was undetectable to the naked eye… didn’t go digging to find it.
All in all I wished I would have stuck with my old stand by, the Beef and cheddar. You know what you’re getting and it looks closer to the picture on the sign.
Potato cakes are my choice here… and let me tell you why. The fries and curly fries at Arbys are always lying in the heat lamp… they don’t keep potato cakes on the warmer, so they are always hot and fresh!
So, if you must try the advertised newby to the menu, but don’t have too high of expectations., or go for what you know, and keeps you coming back.
